  • yeah, once you get used to a certain schedule it's hard to break off from it. You'd have to adjust, and readjust.

lol, I was only kidding. =)

It's good that you went to bed early, you seem like you need the sleep. I might be on tonight, might not. Today's the first of the International Jazz Festival that Montreal's hosting, so I might go with my family tonight, depending on how awake I am by that time.
your boss needs to get his stuff right!!! you can't just keep showing up to work and then find you have the day off instead! If it's your day off, you have the right to sleep in! contest skathac, contest!!

I was on Tinychat last night, and a lot of people helped me narrow down my topic and suggested a few ideas. I am really thankful to them. Then we talked about silly stuff, so I ended up going to bed at 4:00 am, lol

haha, it happens with me too, but I catch it soon enough, and I re-post it in its respective place. :p
I am done! two went well, one I am not so sure, but hoping I did well. All that's left is this paper to write and hand in. It's 25 pages long, and I can't get my brain to create a single clever thought...*sigh* It's probably because I am hungry and waiting for dinner to be ready, haha

How did work go today? or was it your day off?
oh no worries. I know how busy you are with new job and everything. 'sall good! =)

lol!!! You know with your strength and your only physical weakness being your ankle, you reminded of Achilles, the Greek hero of the Trojan war. Cept his weeknes was his heel. :p

haha, sure, Ill try to discern the accent, but it might be tough with you coz you're a native speaker.

Hmm, I actually do believe taht fate can take us places for a reason. My entire life is a proof of that. I've always wanted to go one way, but it seems I am being pushed another way, and I always arrive at places that I am content with. I often wonder and think of what might life has in store for me, and I don't know why, but it makes me smile.

Btw, thanks for your kind and encouraging words in the rep. =)
I just read your blog, congrats on securing that job! i know you said you wouldn't want to work there, but it sounds like you're adjusting to it pretty well so i'm happy for you :) and lol can very much relate to missing sleep, the last few days i've gotten maybe 6 hrs, total. looking forward to the weekend when i can sleep in late :D
Gald to hear your fist day at work went by easily. Hopefully, today was a lil more fun and engaging? Standing is good. It strengthens your back muscles.

Because I've been around a lot, I can recognize almost ANY accent I hear in English. Especially the Arab ones. I can even tell what dialect it is.

Well, whenever there's a TinyChat party, I'm usually there. I don't use Skype much, the only instant massaging/video calling medium I use is MSN, and I use it to speak to family as well.

Edit: I just read your blog. Glad to know that you did well and made a good impression. Keep it up! =)
How very true. Now I just wish the musicians didn't have to be dirt poor to make such a contribution to everyone else...but hey! I'm an idealistic.
That sounds delicious! Yesterday, was pretty good for me. Went over and spent some time with the dad and took my nephew out to pick out some birthday presents.

What do you do for work?
well, it depends on how close the new language to your native language...or the language you speak most. For me German was easier to learn than french because it`s a lot like English in grammar and sentence structure. If I am to learn Spanish, I will compare it to french because those two are also close. but, you`re right, your mind starts to feel comfortable thinking in different languages, that it`ll take on the new ones easily.

People tell me that I don`t have an accent at all, but I feel like I do. If you ever hear me on TinyChat and find an accent let me know. haha

Isn`t it today that you have your training? how did it go?
Seems u like my brand of humor. Today at dinner I asked my dad "Dad, do you think Susie (little sister, names have been changed to protect the innocent) is special?" and my Dad replied "of course!". I then looked at Susie and said "you're SPECIAL!" and laughed non-stop for 1 minute.

I also gave her the finger a few times but in secret while adjusting my glasses.
