  • That's great! It sounds like it's a great opportunity for you, and it's fantastic that you feel comfortable with the guy (so important in therapy).
    A loooooong time ago….when I was 16,17,18…so 1992ish till 1995 I had mohawks….tri-hawks…liberty spikes…the saftey-pins and leather spiked jackets.
Well…I’m 6.1 tall…at that time I weighed 145 lbs…I was thin, so I got the nickname “Skarekrow” and of course being punk-rock I had to spell it all kewl.
Hahaha…so that’s the story…it just stuck though I am 190lbs now which is a much better weight.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced something that no one should! Mind if I ask what you PTSD is for?
Therapy and getting help is something that we all should do, I think! Finding the right therapist can be hard and take a while, but it's worth it.
I think I'm stabilizing. I go up and down a lot in energy and creativity, so it's hard to know what's up and down.
Writing is great, but the actual writing is a headache of self-doubt and anxiety for me.
If I like/can live with sharing the end result I can definitely send it, you know, if you want to read it? :)
Parks & Rec is probably one of the best sit-coms that I've ever seen. It's a very transformative show that still has the same basic elements. It's very "The Simpsons". You should watch it if you get the time :)
A small step forward is a step in the right direction!
    Hey Tigers! :)
You know how it is, everything goes up and down. I've been in a decidedly down period for a while, and then I went into a mixed state period (depression and hypomania at once! Yay!) and now I don't know what's going on :) I'm hoping it's good.
I'm about to start writing a "spec script" of an episode of Parks & Recreation. It's like a job application for a writer in TV land, a complete episode of a well-known TV show for people to judge you on.

    How are you doing? :)
What's going on in your neck of the woods?
i feel like we would be unwelcome most places if we were hitler's, you know?
sounds cool! will check it out, thanks :)
yeah, i feel like depressing is a fitting word for what it's like to read old posts. you're right, it's good to be able to track a progression! hopefully it's good as you say, i don't know. i mean, hitler was once an aspiring painter before he progressed into the biggest asshole that i can think of ;) but you're right and i agree. also, we're not hitler. that's a good thing.

i like most of the sub-forums. i like the ones that you mentioned too, except i don't like the politics section any longer. i feel like it's been taken over by people with a cause, you know? i especially like the mature section and the "philosophy and religion" section. i couldn't tell you why i'm attracted to those sections particularly, maybe because they're more abstract and open to individual opinions? what's the lounge like? i haven't ever really paid attention to it.
oh my goodness, that's crazy! haha, looking back i sometimes wish that i could re-do or delete 900 of my posts! ;) you're so right, you just change so much all of the time and it's rare that you really get confronted with it until you start a profile on infjs.com and sometimes open threads that you wrote in a year ago and you think "who is this person and how annoying is he?". i love it here too, it is indeed a wonderful place to go when you're feeling down or lonely :) do you have a favorite section of the forum?
no i haven't changed my username either :)
as a matter of fact, this is the only internet forum that i've ever been a member of.
thank you very much!! that's very nice of you :)
have you had other usernames that i might know you by? i've admired your posts that i've read since i came back recently!
