    You should try and enjoy your last year. Have you done all your college apps? If you haven't, there's no worry. I did mine in the autumn of my senior year. It was stressful writing replies to all those dumb essay questions, but I made it so I'm sure anyone can do it. Anyways, make the most of it. Spend all the time you can with people you like, try and make peace with people you don't. Or not haha :p Chances are, you'll never have to see any of those guys ever again.

    It's never any fun when your family argues and fights. Screaming's the worst, I can't stand screaming. Hmm, I wish I could help somehow. I really do. As an outsider though, there's not much I can do except tell you that it'll be over soon, and that I think everyone on this forum wishes you the best of luck. When you leave for college, you'll be much happier I think. It's very liberating/rewarding to be forced into living life by yourself (although it is kind of scary too. But that's when the friends you make in college come in).

    Isolated? I understand. This summer seems to be lasting forever. In fact, I've become a shut-in. It's very boring, but it's deeper than that. I think ennui is the best word for it: a spiritual tiredness.

    Anyways, hang in there! It's almost August now, and you'll be back in school before you know it. Then the long summer will be nothing more than a bad memory. :D

    I liked your answer to my question in the interview thread. It reminded me of myself, if you'll pardon me for being a bit self-centred. :)
    Besides being curious about my school, I used explore to look for quiet places to eat lunch as well because I didn't know anyone when I first went to highschool, and the thought of eating lunch alone in the middle of a crowded cafeteria wasn't very appealing. I just thought your reply was interesting because I thought I was the only one who bothered explored the building during lunch. :p

    Are you going to be a junior or a senior? Or are you done with high school now? I seem to remember you once said that you skipped a grade, but I suppose that could have been someone else who said that. My memory's pretty bad.

    But in either case, it's summer vacation! What's wrong? What's got you stressed? Your breaks should be for fun and relaxing.

    I have experienced the same thing with loneliness during high-school btw. Much like you, during the school year, I had no problem interacting with others, and I used to get invited to parties and such, but when the summer was in, people seemed to have forgotten about me, and I no longer received invitations or heard from anyone.

    Later, I learnt that its because people thought I had other plans and that I wasn't including THEM in it. It was expected that I call up people and organize things, but I was never much of an organizer at the time, so I ended up spending my summers in the library or knitting something will watching TV. lol

    So don't worry much about it. It will all go away with time, the older you get, you will meet people who are much like you and you'll find that people grow out of that HS "cool"ness and socializing craze. =)

    Heya, Boyo! :) I'm doing ok. Just *extremely* busy with school lately. So the next few weeks I'll be on the board less. It's not bad, just...busy. :)
