  • NeverAmI, you wicked man! You never answered my last message. :p Well that's alright, it was a pretty bland question anyways. I came by to tell you that I really enjoyed those Sibelius clips you posted (I liked Oistrakh the best, though the Ferras one was also pretty good).
Awww :( What happened? How are you doing now?

I'm doing fine myself. Slightly better than I did several weeks ago, but still struggling with so much RL stuffs xP
Opera is so amazing live. I love it in all ways I can experience it, but live is incredible. It usually leaves me speechless. But then again, I grew up knowing that's what I wanted to do with my life. So, my opinion is slightly bias.

As for the messages, *shrugs* he's Shai Gar.... The title about chicken nuggets came from that change a member's title thread, though.
What makes me really angry in situations like yours is that I tend to be so considerate with other people's space and time, and when I need some peace and quiet I practically have to ask for it, sometimes even fight for it.

And I hear you, normally things don't bother me so much, but I'm prone to biting lately, I came to the conclusion that there is no other way to fight for some privacy and relaxation time.

But moving away and that notion of walking away must be so freeing and exhilarating, right?
It's a bit hectic at the moment and it's going to be even worse. The whole thing is a bit disorganized and it requires of me extreme flexibility when it comes to my time and the way I use it. I'm trying to do my master thesis which does have a lot to do with district heating, but I can't do all of it's parts while I'm at work because there's a lot happening and I need specific software which I can't use at work. I came to the conclusion that I can be very flexible but the question remains for how long I'll be able to function that way. :D

How's your work going? Are you moving soon?
I think there are a couple of reasons why people turn out to be purely mechanical musicians. I have seen it a lot in people who were forced into music as children because their parents thought it would look great on their college applications. They may be flawless technically, but no matter what instrument they are playing they lack the emotion and passion it takes to be truly great. I have also met a couple of people who performed because they wanted to but simply could not get past the mechanical aspect. They had the drive, but were simply unable to feel the music.

When I hear people say that music theory actually hinders musicians I wonder if they have ever actually studied it. I feel blessed to have to foundation in theory that I have. It really opened me up to music from a very young age.I wouldn't be the musician I am without it. It just takes a balance of mechanics and passion.

I wish you the best of luck with theory. It's not exactly the easiest thing. I actually dread having to take it again when I go back to school. They say it's like riding a bike... I think it's more like riding one uphill, but it is well worth it for the rewards it gives in musicality.
    Yes, I'd say so.

Oh , by the way, that violin concerto is stunning, though I prefer the fluidity of the woman in the third video. Though, all of them were stunning.
    Yes, I am.

    Asian peanut butter.
I mean, I don't know if it's really asian, but it has soy sauce in it so that's what I call it.

I made it up one time when I was sort of hungry and slightly tipsy and needed something to dip my french fries in. I learned it was better on chicken later when I didn't have any marinade or anything.
I really like azn peanut butter.
This is going to sound so gross but I promise you, it's delicious.

You melt peanut butter in a pan and you add soy sauce and garlic powder until it tastes super delicious and then you take that and you spread it over your seasoned and cooked chicken and mmmmmmmmm.
I may make a midnight snack when I get home that consists of that.

You season the chicken however, I don't really do things in concrete patterns, so I just use whatever.
I can appreciate the snow immensely. I like corn sometimes. A few weeks ago I was hungry so I decided to eat some corn. I also decided it would be a good idea to season it with basil. I don't suggest this.

Thank you for enlightening me, I don't think I will ever doubt his love for me now (; or at least not for Charlie.
I have since realized that starfish are actual rl animals and not pokemon characters....
But now I'm going to be dying to know what the name of Misty's pokemon was.
I'm going to stop posting visitor messages now because I feel creepy.
I am sorry for any and all inconveniences.
Also I drove through Iowa a few months ago when I decided it was a great idea to drive across the country, and I must say, I didn't really like Iowa. Granted it was about 4am and winter.
It was probably under skies, I know that she likes her. :D

I've got time only for the lite reading so I went for some detective books. Nothing worth mentioning. :)

The enlightened mind sounds interesting. I've seen some really good and some not so good reviews about it, I'm curious of your view on it once you finished with it.

Btw, I really liked Beyond good and evil. I should pick it up sometime again.
Working on thesis and generally working, enjoying the hot weather and all that busyness.

Reading anything interesting at the moment?
Hmm, pretty good I suppose. I've been taking it easy since it's summer break for me. How are things with you?
Oh, haha I see. No, I chose it because it felt like a good, unique user name at the time. It comes from the Roman senate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPQR Although I think I'll tell anyone who asks that it actually stands for"Sono pazzi questi Romani" - meaning "These Romans are Crazy" (it says it on the wiki page too). Sorry to disappoint.
