    Can't quite get my mind around jonesing for something that's good for you. So it seems odd to say, "jonesing for some peace and traquility." Yet, if anything, that's what I crave the most. :mmph: Oh well, never was very good at fitting in. Thanks again!

    Thank you. No, I didn't share the experiences of a Boomer either. And certainly never felt part of Gen X. So I welcome the notion of new classification. But I've never been worried about "keeping up with Jones's." An unrequited, jonesing quality? Yea, I suppose so. Do you feel as though you're "jonesing" for something?

    Hi!
    Those of us born between 1954 - 1965. While we have traditionally been grouped into the Boomer classification, we really never shared the same experiences as a Boomer born in say 1946. This Wiki article explains it better.

    I was born in '61. I have an older Sister who was born in '47. By the time she was 18 and went off to college, I was 4 years old. How does it make any sense for me to be classified as being in the same generation as her?

    I came up with it while on a cruise.
    Over a doorway on the ship was a sign that read "Mind your head."
    I thought, that would make a great screen name.
    Then I stumbled upon this site and thought it would be perfect.
