Sputnik Sweetheart was my least favourite too. I didn't know that Dance Dance Dance was the sequel to Wild Shee Chase...it makes sense now! i havn't read Kafka's on the Shore just yet. I couldn't get the book from the library. I'm reading Wind up Bird for the second time now

Since a couple months ago "the pear drop girl is gone" was embedded into my memory after seeing it so many times. Yesterday I decided to google it because I thought it was just some expression that I had never heard before. Turns out it's your story and it was posted somewhere.
