  • Thanks Indie! :) Didn't notice I was replying to myself until you told me :D:D
I think it's an awesome forum & I told my closest INFJ friend to join too :D I think he'll enjoy reading the thread topics as much as I enjoy reading them :)
.. Winter..BBQ's..?:m035: My God I think I'm drooling right now. What you call cold is probably avarage weather for me. I'll come and enjoy nature's elements with you!! :)
Well yeah (I live in Europe), basically... let's say 95% of the time.. And I'm one of those people that absolutely loves spending time outside, so you can imagine that I don't really like the rain and the cold :) Want.. an .. Australian.. summer.. too .. gnnn:m169:
Things are going pretty good here also, thanks for the balloon! Sadly enough it's not sunny here, but gray, cloudy and rainy. Prepared for a trade? :D Man I always wanted to live in Australia, you lucky girl :)

Yeah I like that too, photographing the clouds! A couple of days ago I saw this swan-cloud (and not something I made out of it with a lot of imagination, it really was a perfect SWAN :)). But (as usual) I didn't have my camera with me.. of course.. Arrrrrgh! Hm yeah well unfortunately that happens all the time :D
Hi Indie.J how are things in Australia? :) I brought you a lollipop, but the monkeys decided to have one themselves, sorry! :m154:
Oh, don't worry about that, hon'! Here, we're all family. Even if we don't agree, we're usually polite about it. Well...the INFJs, anyway. ;)
I think that is entirely possible, and I have experienced similar results. Depending on the person, I can pick up on things with alarming clarity. My friends now refuse to read the answer on Trivial Pursuit cards, because they have realized that my ability to correctly answer drastically diminishes when they don't know it.

If I had to guess, I would say this is strongly a function of Ni. My Ne friends seem to think they can do this, but are alarmingly bad at it when tested, and often convince themselves that no one can. My INTJ friends can also do this pretty consistently. However, I've noticed that the INFJs are freakishly good at it. The correlation of Fe being more abstract and concerned with others seems to amplify it.

Yup. I love going out with my mates and watching them drink. Vast amusement, and free.

No, I don't drink alcohol anymore. I used to drink green fairy and green chartreuse.

nom. hit up Aria, she's got my stash of absinthe.
Oh yes.. in fact. If you search - Warriors Come out to Plaaay then you will see the thread with other youtube INFJ videos. I was actually inspired by Indy's video and that's why I went ahead and made my own. :D Well your mom is a rare exception, because the majority of INFJ's I've encountered dont really like driving. I will admit that there have been a few times where I didn't mind it so much, or even enjoyed myself, but usually that has something to do with my mood of the day in general, and always is influenced by music. I have found that driving listening to something calming and familiar helps me to be more at ease while driving, and I can't have too much noise either. :D
Oh, I'd let you play on my piano if I could:hug: But I guess crossing an ocean is a little bit too difficult :)
Or maybe it's to teach people that sometimes there is more to be considered than just appearance and fragrance.

For instance, consider the Foxglove ( Digitalis purpurea) (http://media-2.web.britannica.com/eb-media/54/11754-004-CDD053CA.jpg). A very beautiful and stately flower.

Is also very toxic. It produces the chemical digitoxin, which is used in small refined doses to treat various serious heart conditions. However, so much as a nibble of the plants stem could kill.

And now, I'm sure you've learned more random information about plants and flowers than any normal person cares to LOL.
The Daisy (Bellis perennis) is a very hardy perenniel. Heat tolerant, Drought tolerant, versatile (hardy in USDA zones 3-9) not prone to weird diseases or pests. These suckers can be mowed down and grow back. In addition to spreading by rhizomes they are also self-seeding. Even though they prefer nutrient rich soil, they can grow in poor soil.

They are tough. However, they are quite plain. Their foliage looks more weedy than most flowers. And like it has been noted, they don't have a recommendable fragrance. However, the daisy does have astringent properties as well as some coagulant properties.

I consider myself to be tough, a survivor, adaptable. However none of these things are qualities you can see. But, I am also very plain looking, pretty in my own way but not classically beautiful. So, when contemplating what kind of flower I most resemble, the daisy came to mind.
LMAO! I hope I didn't make you feel bad or anything! It was supremely ironic that I wrote this totally introspective blog that used flowers to describe different kinds of people, and the flower I chose for myself happened to be the daisy.

Then I get in here and read about the daisys in that thread.

I found the whole thing positively amusing.....Even though I will no longer post that particular blog!

No bad feelings here! Just one of those peculiar coincidences!
