  • Thanks! I hope you have a great summer too! I trust that level headed people such as yourself will help keep the drama down to a minimum!
you are too kind. thanks for the colorful, trippy lollipop.

well, i made it out alive. the whole anestesia experience really blows my mind, i'll explain my experience next time.

i'll be back in a few days to talk more. right now, strictly resting and lots of doing nothing at all.
epic fail on my part this time around. i just edited my list TWICE. and yes, your eyes arent deceiving you, it actually does say "la bouche". DAMN PROUD!!! hahaha.

the lesson here is, i cant rush. truth is, there are hundreds of songs, i need to narrow them down better and analyze more. : ]

eagerly awaiting yours. [but by all means, take your time. dont want you failing miserably like i did this time around.]
one last thing. go back and listen to third eye the album version. the beginning.

"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here’s Tom with the weather."

it'll put a whole different spin on that song from now on when you listen to it.
FYI, i went more toward the specific person memory than the exact moments. each of these makes me think of a certain person, or persons.

    not a ranking system.

this is a REALLY WEIRD list. wow.

more of a timeline. [not necessarily of when the songs were released.]

this list, apparently, really showcases my emo-ness and corniness. not exactly sure why it came out this way, but hey, it did!

1 elton john - circle of life
2 eric clapton - tears in heaven
    3 madonna - take a bow
4 la bouche - sweet dreams
5 le click - call me
6 the verve pipe - freshmen
7 primitive radio gods - standing outside a broken phone booth with money in my hand
8 yeah yeah yeahs - phenomena
9 extreme - more than words
10 tool - third eye ---> since you already know this song, listen to this 59 second version of it. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuAY4VQ3TmA"]YouTube - ‪Tool - Third Eye - Red Rocks 6/29/2010‬‏[/ame]

ps, i was there. i'll have to explain via PM what actually transpired that night, if you'd like. heres a hint though. [by hint i mean pretty much the whole story]. a really hot female that just so happened to sit next to me under the full moon decided she wanted to come back to my hotel room after the show, since i was leaving colorado the next day. lol. needless to say, i wanted to end this list on that note. one of the most magical moments that has ever happened to anyone, ever. and yes, that includes the 32 trillion.

    EDITED THE LIST!
Ty, honestly I looked through all my posts, looked through my friends list, the members blogs...
lol. there might be TOO much of it.

this one takes lots of thought too. i have a couple of ideas already knocking around inside my skull. i will post it as soon as i finish it.
not many obscure songs here. not my intention, just the way it turned out.

there arent really many surprises. except maybe the ender. lol.

    1 - breaking benjamin - forever
    2 - alice in chains - don't follow
3 - pink floyd - on the turning away
    4 - blessid union of souls - i believe
    5 - tool - disposition
    6 - tool - eulogy
    7 - metallica - one
    8 - pink floyd - comfortably numb
    9 - nirvana - all apologies
10 - vanessa williams - save the best for last
we dont have any that are matches.

i like how you have some pretty obscure songs. at least i'm assuming they are obscure, because i dont know them. [except for the audioslave one]. definite props for picking a bjork song, thats one crazy eskimo.

i will listen to them, in order, soon. and then you'll get my list, because it isnt done yet.

    this is fun!! hehe.
well yeah, you're a chick, it's kinda your job to be emotional and emo, lolz.

i have sad ones too. i have a feeling we're gonna have at LEAST 2 of the same songs, possibly more.
yea i was just driving to the store and i was thinking about it.

i dont want all 10 of the songs to be sad or depressing. it's MY funeral after all, so it should be very representative of who i was as a person.........
also, a rule about this list [and i dont like rules, but still]....

the 10 songs you and i both list, we have to listen to them. meaning, your top 10 funeral list, will be listened by me, in order. and you must listen to mine. deal?
oh yeah, thats cool. queens is pretty lame, imo. i've only been to philly. i do want to explore PA one of these days.

    i'm thinkin of another list.

ok fuck it, thinking is over rated. just came up with this in a split second. top 10 songs you want played at your funeral, can be from any time era.

    .........and, GO!
Sometimes feels like its a blender with the puree button taped down. Everything around me moves at high speed as I observe in slow motion.

    How bout yerself?
