    Evolution vs. Creationism

Got to agree with you. We're meant to learn from our mistakes, but don't see how in the great scheme of things how we are individually responsible for the rest of creation, like a domino effect we are all cause and effect of eachother. Imagine how you could have made one decision 2 years ago...

    Prepare for the swines

the last flu pandemic killed 40 million http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/2009/04/28/fast-and-deadly-115875-21314262/ As the virus spreads it is feared to mutate further, becoming stronger. We can't predict what's going to happen but I can't help but worry slightly. But... as a friend put it...

    Prepare for the swines

It might be nothing to worry about but anyone considering stocking up on food etc just incase? I know the media hype things up but it's best to prepare a little box. There could be a scare on the way and it's best to do the shopping before a rush, you know what it's like at christmas...

Thoughts on the 2012 doomsday theory?

Well there's been lots wales beaching themselves lately, the poles may already be shifting. Speaking of animals and magnetic pulls, I heard that satellite images revealed cows stand facing poles for much of the time. Useless information but cool if its true. The best way to predict the future...

    Evolution vs. Creationism

Could with parallel universes, forgetfullness and evolution. Evolution requires the destruction of what has been before for the transformation process which can be interpretted as suffering.

Anyone else fed up with all this health & safety garbage? I was asked to look at a few things at work recently regarding hazard awareness, jokingly we used a stapler for an example of how silly things are getting and how anything is now classed as a risk. Then later I was mentioning this to...

    Evolution vs. Creationism

Oh no don't get me wrong, I don't doubt my beliefs. That was just a light hearted comment, I hate "noitalls" and didn't want to come across like one. Illegal? There are legal ways, one of which particularly easy to get hold of and use. PM you later :)

    Evolution vs. Creationism

I didn't say it existed 'independently'. And if something was a result of energies it would still be energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, its the cause and effect of itself isn't it? Its a constant motion from one form to another. And thoughts are biochemical electrical impulses...

    Evolution vs. Creationism

The way I feel about it is that this 'god' is pure consciousness, the joint awareness of all conscious and unconscious energy. As such it would need to be impartial because it would understand every situation relative to the other, one persons happiness is anothers sorrow and as you said...

    Evolution vs. Creationism

Lets say for a minute that we were created by something and there was purpose other than just being and that we were destined for something. What would that destiny be?

    Evolution vs. Creationism

Well... Satya? *pulls up a chair* Ah, yes.. sorry lost the point getting carried away defending her  I can't get my head around free will, we're all installed with senses to perceive reality but they're all easily manipulated. Do we control our thoughts? I certainly like to...
