  • They all sound appealing! From your descriptions Sheffield and Bath sound pretty sweet, I'll have to do a bit more research into them later :)

Have you managed to make it over to Australia??
Ohh and the winters you have must be wonderful, being surrounded by all that snow :) (Although I'm sure you may sick of it already!)

There's a few choices on university; Lancaster, Bath, East Anglia, Exeter, Sheffield. I can't make up my mind though, they all sound like fun!
It's quite barmy at the moment, winter is nearly gone and the spring sun is showing its little head more and more :)

Summer can get tiring after a month or so; all I wish for is freezing temperatures, a blanket and a person under the blanket cuddling me warm :)

I cant wait till I head over the England on student exchange!
civil union would just be a slip of paper you sign, and the marriage would be the big dress and festival. and if people didn't want marriage they could still do some big thing with civil union but it would still just be a slip of paper.
Hmmm, I disagree, I'm one of those people that think religion and government should be completely seperated and in order to do that, marriage will have to be stripped of legal merit and civil union will be used for legal rights whereas marriage can still be for the religious people to practice, without legal rights of course.
Yeah, I don't think I'd be influenced to change my opinion because quite frankly it isn't an opinion it's a fact...

Well, moreof, a perspective. I think that the solution to gay marriage IS civil union, for everyone. But I don't think everyone recognises or agrees with this, which is fine, but that's what I personally think would benefit society.
I don't think so. It's just typical discussions, and since I don't come into a discussion with the perspective that I want to win or lose, or that anyone can even win or lose in a discussion, the conflict doesn't matter to me. I don't know if I explained that coherently.
You haven't been to Alton towers!?!?!? I would shame you but I'm a boring bastard myself so I can't say much, lol. I suppose money was a good idea, I'll be doing the same over the next few years no doubt.

Yeah not much preparation to be honest, just gotta pay the money for the house, buy some rations and clothes, then I'm sorted. I'll probably forget something, but that's a given. I've learnt to accept my retarded-ness when it comes to organising things.
Oh awesome, I haven't been there for years! Get any decent presents? Same old with me, nothing really to report.
I saw at the bottom of the screen, it said it was your birthday today? Happy Birthday! Well I hope it is. I'd look like an idiot otherwise. Hope you have a good one!
Well, you've got me started on music XD
I like chillout/acoustic...and anything with jazz roots. Jazz too, if the time is right (usually only very late at night). When it's a sunshiney day inside and out, I like indie rock like Arctic Monkeys and Spoon. I reeally like Norah Jones, the Dave Matthews Band, and Andrew Bird.
and thanks for the friendly welcome! What is your music of choice?
Thank you! I can't tell you how at home I feel on this forum. no need to explain myself (although it's fun to dish about our experiences). I'm very much into music (playing, singing, listening)
and I like sunlight and daytime but I am rather nocturnal.
