what is this?
Hello, I would just like to canvass some opinions from the crowd on what you think are necessary traits to look for in a partner with the view of entering into a long-lasting marriage.

Someone whom I know very well told me that "kindness" is an important attribute. She suggests that you can tell kindness from how a person interacts with her lessers, and other service staff like waiters.

The older, more experienced folk in the forum have opinions that double in weight, so I hope you will share with us your words of wisdom!

  • Pronounce name
  • Magnetic
  • Humorous
  • Reacts on the fly
  • Forward thinking
  • Free-willed
  • Sound judgement
  • Attractive
  • Good posture

Much has been written on this topic, but I believe that I have proper guidance on this matter.

Someone who makes you laugh - laughs with you and at themselves.

Someone who is vulnerable with you - open and honest - especially about themselves.

Someone who shares similar values with you. They understand your cultural beliefs.

Someone who respects you.

Someone who gives you space.

Someone who encourages and/or challenges you to be the best you can be...Supportive.... Not belittling.

A good partner will appreciate a good partner. So, be a great partner, and give that to someone who will be a great partner in return.

I know that I personally love a man that can take responsibility for his actions, have the humility to admit when he's wrong, and can show gratitude as well.

A good husband will rub my back without me asking. He will check the washer/dryer to see if any laundry needs to be taken care of. He will love my cooking and help me clean up afterwards and eat any leftovers on my plate. He will laugh at my cynical humor. He will listen as much as he talks. And he will have a big wang.

He will be truthful and if I suspect him of anything, he will be understanding that it is a part of me and will be honest.

The universe is full of surprises.

More impressive if it was 500th post in a row that includes 'penis'. Work on it.
