What can fascinate or hold your interest for hours?



Why?
 
This forum, on it's busy days, eespecially when opinions on controversal topics are flying back and forth.


Piano, because there are a myriad of ways to play it

Singing, for the above reason

Reading, because I get sucked into the author's world

Teching myself ASL songs because they are beautiful to witness, but even more awesome to do yourself

Music

They all have an enthralling/entrancing quality about them for me. It gets my brain excited, yet puts me in a physically serene state.

Because they are all opportunities for learning which is my main motivator in life. Every oportunity to learn and find out something new can hold my interest for a long enough time.
 
Does it have to be hours?
 
A good video game. Has to be a good one though, I have a sort of ADD when it comes to games.

Myst is the last one that did it for me.

animals - (only the ones i can pet) i like aquariums, but i can't swim with the fish. =(

Many things can. Strangely though, I get antsy when I watch movies or TV.
 
seldom websites or computers (why am i a computer major again?). a good movie perhaps. but mostly, figuring people out. that and good music. that's about it.
