Don't think I'd ever heard this before.
The vocals are so odd, one minute he's out of key or something and the next its her turn.
Yet they can both clearly sing well
I can only assume it's purposeful, but it's still weird as heck.
The music itself is great tho.

There’s only one singer, the blond man that is Green Gartside.

And yes, purposeful in that it is his voice, tenor as it is. No vocal pitch correction was used, as said technology was not sufficiently advanced in 1984.
