Thanks peppermint for reminding me of this particular story of chlorine and fluoride additives in US drinking water. For me as Austrian this story is so far fetched and unreal that my mind somehow seems to repress it all the time :-D.
(I think I mentioned fluoride in my original posting, but what I meant were toothpastes and PRODUCTS containing fluoride and that it is "advisable" to not use them...I totally forgot about the water story because it is so unreal!)
I have a lot of german material and links about this topic, but nothing in English. I found 2 english links however:
    http://www.chrisbeatcancer.com/fluoride-is-poison/
    http://www.burtongoldberg.com/page81.html

    I suggest you read both.
If you think it is healthy to drink water that contains this stuff, then thats your opinion / decision ;-)
I think there are a lot of better alternatives...for example distilled water (home distiller). Or good bottled water in GLASS bottles (the funny plastic compounds that swim in plastic bottles arent very healthy either).

    @Skarekrow
I am currently exhausted and cannot answer, perhaps tomorrow or in the next days, sorry.

Take your time…it just seemed to be an awfully outdated way of thinking and about gender equality in general.

Hm I think for the most part you criticize your own flawed interpretation of what I said, and conclude from your own interpretation that my views must be outdated or "unjust" (etc. pp.) and then put it onto my shoulders to explain myself, but I currently just dont want to, sorry. Too much work involved as the language barrier makes it much more time consuming for me to explain complex topics...I think it is better if I focus on my newfound fascination for sloths. lol

I just added a few bits of information to the "original" thread in my forum
    http://www.tinyurl.com/verygoodhealthtips

    Here the additional bits:
    ===================================================
Read "Why stomach acid is good for you":
    https://www.amazon.de/dp/0871319314/?tag=infjsforums-21

Check this out, "10 Things You've Been Doing Wrong Your Whole Life":

Learn how to breath "into" your stomach.
Check out the sleep information, it might be very important. I only found a german book about it, here:
    https://www.amazon.de/dp/3876671558/?tag=infjsforums-21
The 6 people who reviewed it are very convinced it works!!!

Check out the free book at www.naturesplatform.com by Jonathan Isbit. Do not underestimate the importance of squatting for your long term health!

Check out this site, VERY important:
    https://www.atlantotec.com/en/
This is directly connected to squatting (!), and you wont believe how. Well, basically women give birth in the wrong posture, this reduces the birth canal by 10 or 20%, forcing doctors to pull out the baby with instruments, this puts strain on the babies head, this might cause the atlas to shift, which is only possible because the babies bones are very soft, and once the atlas is relocated, it can cause ALL SORTS of physical and mental problems, depending on how much the altas is shifted. This also explains why whiplash injuries often have so devastating effects - if the atlas was already "out of place" before the accident, it can much more easily shift to an even worse position if a great force hits the head and neck area, therefore causing even more physical and mental health problems. School medicine does not KNOW about this problem because it is hard to diagnose, a special and very expensive form of CT scan is needed and a specialist familiar with this particular problem is needed to diagnose the problem. See the english atlantotec.com homepage.
CURRENTLY (Jan. 2016) there are, as far as I know, no atlantotec therapists in USA. Checking the Atlas is free BTW and takes only 2 mins, so if you go on vacation in Europe, you might consider getting your atlas checked, for example at the beginning of your holiday. If you want a correction, it costs 250 EUR and you will need an appointment. Unfortunately most atlantotec therapists are booked for weeks or months in advance, so take this into consideration.

Regarding "life after death topics", I added 1 link, here:
Check out this video "Dying Man Records his Final Words About God":

I think I just found a probably very important information about the so called "natural sleep", check it out here:
    http://naturschlaf.com/
For english version and other languages check
    http://m-draeger.com/
I suggest you immediately download the PDF or DOC.
The book is also availabe in printed form on www.amazon.com!
If you try this method and get good results, please forward this information to others, into other forums etc. etc. :)
Please also send me your feedback, for example per email, per PM, or in this thread etc., thanks :)

    @Jet
A Squattypotty is surely better, but according to my information, you can only reap the FULL benefits of squatting if you use the full squatting posture while defecating, so you might consider getting a Natures Platform or rebuild your toilet to a "real" squatting toilet (like in most japanese households, their squatting toilets look very nice and are very hygienic, they have a water flush). Or a chamber pot.

I just wanted to add this because otherwise this information would be missing!

I agree that it is not as ideal as when I had an outhouse (let me tell you, best poops of my life!), and I've always said I would put in a squatting toilet if I ever owned a home but due to accident prone children and my current living situation the SP is my best bet.

Inclined Bed Therapy: Tilt your bed for healthful sleep
    Categories
    Health

Inclined Bed Therapy or IBT is the brain child of Andrew Fletcher, who discovered in the 1990's that gravity actually helps to drive circulation of the sap in trees. From there, it was a short step to ask whether this was also true for animals and humans. This posed the question "why on Earth do people sleep flat?"

So Andrew suggested that people slightly raise the head end of their bed and see if any changes in their health are noticeable.

    bedincline.gif

This is one of the numerous anecdotes ... stories of personal success people have reported after raising the head end of their bed by just five or six inches.

"Over two years ago I sat in the armchair reading a small advert which asked people to raise their bed by six inches at the head and to reply and tell what benefits had been noted. (No explanation was given)

At the time I could not move my neck to my left or right side and it ached continuously. I was unable to sleep at night as i could not get comfortable. I was only able to turn by gently easing myself. It took about three to four turns. Getting out of bed was a major obstacle. I needed help to dress and undress.

I spent most of my nights in the chair with the result that I was always tired and had no energy.

My problem is osteoporosis of the upper and lower spine. I had tried hormone replacement therapy and wasted a small fortune with bone specialists and osteopaths.
I was resigned to living my days out as best I could, having been told that there was nothing more that could be done for me.

I expected nothing but had nothing to lose, so Harry raised the bed by six inches. We did not take it very seriously but were happy to try anything.

On the fourth night I had the first full nights sleep since I don't remember when. By the end of the week I was sleeping naturally and turning over with ease. My dressing was a problem no longer, each day it became easier. I was able to turn my head without pain, right or left, to see the clock without getting up from my chair.

There have been many other benefits too. I have worn glasses from the age of seven years and I am now sixty eight years. Last year was the first time I was told that there was a small improvement.

My hair appears thicker, my hair brush needs cleaning less often.

Harry had a large suppurating scar since he was six years old. He has had to continually dress it all of his life. But now it has healed up. His ear which constantly gave him trouble with a discharge has now cleared up completely.

We both feel that the clock has been put back for us!"

    Ruby, 2nd April 1998

European Food Safety Authority cherry picks evidence - finds Aspartame completely safe
    Categories

    Science

After conducting "one of the most comprehensive risk assessments of aspartame ever undertaken", the European Food Safety Authority has released its verdict on 10 December 2013.

    EFSA_logo.png

The agency came to the conclusion that aspartame and its breakdown products are "safe for human consumption at current levels of exposure".

The EFSA press release says that this was an important step forward in "strengthening consumer confidence in the scientific underpinning of the EU food safety system and the regulation of food additives".

So the message seems to be that we should all just move on to other things. Leave aspartame alone and better yet - drink some of that "diet" Coke.

    But should we really?

Could perhaps the power of money and influence behind big food have had a determining effect on that decision? We cannot be certain what exactly caused the EU regulator to give aspartame a clean bill of health rather than to acknowledge the sweetener's widely known dangers. Fact is - they disregarded every single study that showed aspartame to have adverse effects.

Prof. Erik Millstone of the University of Sussex Science and Technology Policy Research Unit believes that EFSA has arrived at its conclusion by opportunistic interpretation of the studies that were reviewed. Most of the industry funded studies were given straight A's, while independent studies were - without exception - given an 'F' rating. Millstone says that

"The EFSA Panel opportunistically accepted at face value almost all of the studies suggesting that aspartame is harmless, while entirely discounting every single study indicating that aspartame may be harmful, even though the quality, power and sensitivity of many of the studies that were discounted were markedly superior to those of the contrary studies deemed reliable."

    I just added this:
    ================
    Beerans Alternatives for p*ssies:

She did not mention the mooncup however, which is probably the best and most "economic" product to collect the menstruation blood...this can save you quite a fortune.
    ================

If you are female, also check out the "rape countermeasures" here:
    =================
An Article from Neena Susan Thomas

“Through a rapist’s eyes. A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interview…ed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts:

1] The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun! , braid, or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common targets.

2] The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women who’s clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors around to cut clothing.

3] They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered.

4] The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is grocery store parking lots.

5] Number two is office parking lots/garages.

6] Number three is public restrooms.

7] The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to a second location where they don’t have to worry about getting caught.

8] If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn’t worth it because it will be time-consuming.

9] These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas,or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands.

10] Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince these guys you’re not worth it.

    POINTS THAT WE SHOULD REMEMBER:

1] If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage or with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk: can’t believe it is so cold out here, we’re in for a bad winter. Now that you’ve seen their faces and could identify them in a line- up, you lose appeal as a target.

2] If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of you and yell Stop or Stay back! Most of the rapists this man talked to said they’d leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would not be afraid to fight back. Again, they are looking for an EASY target.

3] If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yelling I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent.

4] If someone grabs you, you can’t beat them with strength but you can do it by outsmarting them. If you are grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm between the elbow and armpit or in the upper inner thigh – HARD. One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it really hurts.

5] After the initial hit, always go for the groin. I know from a particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy’s parts it is extremely painful. You might think that you’ll anger the guy and make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause him a lot of trouble. Start causing trouble, and he’s out of there.

6] When the guy puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as possible. The instructor did it to me without using much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked audibly.

7] Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of your surroundings, take someone with you if you can and if you see any odd behavior, don’t dismiss it, go with your instincts. You may feel little silly at the time, but you’d feel much worse if the guy really was trouble.

FINALLY, PLEASE REMEMBER THESE AS WELL ….

    1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do it.

    2. Learned this from a tourist guide to New Orleans : if a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you…. chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

    3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won’t see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives.

    4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON’T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS , LEAVE.

    5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:

    a. Be aware: look around your car as someone may be hiding at the passenger side , peek into your car, inside the passenger side floor, and in the back seat. ( DO THIS TOO BEFORE RIDING A TAXI CAB) .

    b. If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.

    c. Look at the car parked on the driver’s side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

    6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot).

    7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN!

    8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked “for help” into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it’s better safe than sorry.

If u have compassion reblog this post.

The following tip is not a health tip but a money saving tip.

By now I tested an oil additive called "roilgold" and put it in my scooter and car, and well, I can confirm that this product really saves gas. The scooter and car also perform better in every regard, better acceleration, smoother engine, reduced engine brake, easier motor start.

    Do your own research...

The second product I can recommend are MPG caps by FFI (fuel additive). I have been using them for 8 years by now in my car and scooter and they also work very well.

Roilgold and MPG caps combined, you can save ca. 20% gasoline (or even more, if the engine is dirty).

The products are usually free as you usually save significantly more than the products cost (depending on product cost and mileage), just calculate this for yourself and pick the cheapest vendor(s).

I suggest you try it first on your cheapest and crappiest engine, scooter, lawnmower etc.. and see for yourself. These products also cause emissions to drop rapidly, which was the primary reasons why I started using these products.

I just added the following pieces of information to my english health tips:
