The astrology of this one is pretty straightforward - there is a discussion of why this event was expected here.

The main triggering aspect for this was Mars square Uranus with Mars on its way out of Aquarius (where it is opposing Trump's Ascendant in his own chart ie Mars conjunct Descendant for him at the time of the announcement.) The previous conflict in this area also featured Mars square Uranus and having this aspect in the chart for the conflict guarantees chaotic developments and many surprises.

IDK if the US should have joined Israel in attacking Iran. Same stance I had for the US taking out Nicolás Maduro.

Does it end in a net positive for the people who live in these countries? Well, the people seem to be pretty thrilled with the US involvement in taking out these evil men. Is that enough to justify it? IDK, honestly. War is ugly. That's just a fact. It's also a fact that innocent civilians die in every war, which is completely regrettable. The question is if the means justify the ends, and the ends, as they are, are unclear.

If Iran's people can establish a more humane government, then I think it will end in a net positive. But the problem with the Mid-East is that so often, when you take out one evil dictator, another one just comes in to take its place.
