    It just goes to show how shallow we all are. We looked at that woman and didn't give her a chance... but she showed us how wrong we were.

    The we as in the people in the audience or perhaps as a society. I judged her to some extent as well; however, I thought the audience was going to make fun of her and was about to get angry.

    I am not arrogant enough to claim a royal 'we'.
