Saying "I love you"

if I feel it, I say it. .
and,or so I am told, I twinkle when I feel it.

I do say it to family members. As far as SO's are concerned, I think too many use the word and throw it around far too often. It is not a word to be said just because you 'feel' it. It is an action, a decisions, and a conclusion. Love is not an emotion (at least, the love that holds relationships together longer than a year).

Family - Very easily. I say "I love you" to my family all the time, and visa versa.

Friends - It can seem a little awkward, but not so much with very close friends.

SOs, beginning of relationship - It depends on how I feel about the person, but I wouldn't be the first to say it.

SOs, after the relationship has matured - Easily.

People I don't truly love - No. I don't like being dishonest or insincere.

It's really hard for me to say I love you.
I think that's why it's so special when I finally get the courage. If I say it, I truly mean it.
