As somewhat of a nonbeliever, I'm going to need to witness this stuff for myself first... but I also seem to have trouble experiencing it even when others seem to be having an effect. As an example, our sensei put his hand on a door and was like, turning his chi 'on' and 'off' and people could feel it on the other side of the door. but I didn't feel anything idk, but I felt like maybe I was feeling for the wrong thing.
I'd be thrilled to get back into it, though. My father and I did a fair amount of it back when he was taking me to karate lessons, before the chemotherapy made him too tired. I still make 'chi balls' aka pockets of hot/still air in my hands to combat the cold. I haven't been doing it as much, though.
