    What genre do you guys think have the best love songs,I'm going to add a poll after I get some examples.

    I think it goes without saying that music videos are a must, thats why i'm saying it.

    Mainstream pop.

    EDIT: not necessarily the best. Just the most.

    I'd look into the 60's. Or 80's with all the glam metal bands.

    Alternative music usually provides the best lyrics imo, but often time sounds to depressing.
    I think a good love song should be something like this ^^

    Makes the lady's go :m055:.

    I fell in love with this song. It reminds me of someone I hold dear. ^^

    It has nothing to do with genre for me, it all depends on the specific song.

    My personal favorites:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVx7PYbuCjs"]YouTube - Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love Lyrics[/ame]

    This is for a break up:

    Genre: Pop. Mostly around the 70s, 80s and 90s.
    Oh, there are way too many to sum up in one post. But here are some:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ5UuxODHuQ"]YouTube - Survivor-The Search Is Over[/ame]

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BMwcO6_hyA"]YouTube - Bon Jovi - Always[/ame]

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkaZH9IvPuk"]YouTube - My Destiny - Jim Brickman (with lyrcs)[/ame]

    And here's one country: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNZH-emehxA"]YouTube - Shania Twain - You're Still The One[/ame]

    ---
    Following RL's lead on break-up songs, albeit never asked, but it's too tempting not to.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj6MjMpbneM"]YouTube - Rascal Flatts - What Hurts The Most with lyrics[/ame]

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yZ1uI5yPbY"]YouTube - The Script - Breakeven (Falling To Pieces)[/ame]
