Just in case you ever though polls were worth anything...

Gays are just blokes who fancy other blokes (or lasses if they're women), whereas everybody knows that homosexuals are thin effeminate twerps who stand around drinking wine with fag-hags overemphasizing everything and plotting to take over the USA with PC terms and laws that will ruin things for everyone.
 
A good reason why binding referenda are a bad idea too.
 
A good binding referendum could help to make this nation a Republic.
 
We had this abomination of a referendum question recently:

"Should a smack as part of good parental correction be a criminal offence in New Zealand?"

If people were swayed just by different words with the same meaning in Satya's question, imagine how they'd go with a great big value judgement right in the middle of it.

I wonder how popular "good" homosexuals in the military would be compared to "bad" ones? :md:

Yeah, that was hilarious. (To think, all those people have voting rights!!)

See: all you really need is a good PR person/spindoctor who can think of a good, non-threatening name for it, and then broadcast that name in soundbites on Fox news every 30 minutes! Next thing you know, those poll numbers will shoot up to 97% approval in no time!

Men easily go to war on less thought out words from their leaders, why should this be suprising. The silver tounge is by far one of man's most powerful gifts.

Wow. That's appalling. I strongly believe that "good" parental correction would always be nonviolent, and the people writing the question were obviously biased against my position on that issue. :m067:
 
Polls can be manipulated to say anything you want them to say.
