The Infj cliche is one rather staying home. So, how often do you get out there?

I try to have some relatively major social activity once a month and I'll go out with people once every week or two in a more casual sense.
As of lately though, it's less with others and more just me and my gf because we aren't planning on staying where we're located.
I don't want to form real solid bonds here and then just up and abandon people.

I get out about once a week or less, and that's just to breathe fresh air, move & drive (I love driving). Shopping of course too.

Don't misunderstand: I am perfectly happy as I have my family around me. I like people very much, but find that most people become high maintenance: I become their best friend as long as the topic remains focused on them. I don't see the point of having relationships that are one way and historically all of my friendships go that way.

    How about you?

Before kids I'd go out about 1-2 times a week. It would be normal to go about 2 weeks without going out in periods of recharge. Typically I get out about once every 2-3 weeks now. I do a lot of grabbing lunch with friends during the work week currently. If I counted that I'd say I'd average about 2 times a week.

Don't remember when I met someone outside of my home lately. Random people when shopping and stuff not counting.

well.. I recently moved to a new state and I've only made a few friends but I do make it a point to hang out with my closest friend here on a weekly basis. back home i have a wide circle of friends and I would see them several times a week.. I always had people at my house. I also would have big parties at my house once every couple of months.. I miss that. I'm just feeling very blessed to have made at least one close friend here. she is a lovely girl.

I have a few close friends who are more like family to me. They're the kind of friends that you dont have to see often to still be friends. *whew*
When we hang out, its mostly indoors. But, it's nice to get out and do things every now and again too. I'll join them at the bar for a night of dancing or karaoke about once every 3-6 months. Haha.

I get out often, though. When the sun is shining or weather permits, my dog and I venture out around town for most the day. ...getting out isn't an issue more than being around people.

Uhhh.... If I write it down on paper it seems like I meet up with people often. I walk dogs and horses with friends almost daily. On weekends my SO and I go out and see acquaintances or friends, or friends come over. These are mostly guys he's met at the bar. However, I don't see other people that often, and my friendship circle here is pretty small.
I used to go to live music a lot, to museums and galleries, and out to dinner with friends quite a bit. During cold weather we would gather at my house and during warmer seasons we'd gather in a friend's back yard almost nightly. People came over to my house a lot.
I work at home, so I don't see random humans at work or during commuting. That's pretty sweet.

Depending on the definition for me it is 5 days a week (sometimes 6 if we go on a hike) due to dealing with people at work every day nowadays but coming from a "starting point" of not leaving the house for weeks on end back when I had agoraphobia some years ago. But it's rather as @RonjaRaeubertochter put it with the "random people not counting" part and also along the lines of what @Wyote said about not forming connections where one wouldn't expect to stay or put down roots. On the other hand I can hang out whenever with the people close to me and it might as well be indoors or something like a hike - I leave the parties and other such events to my E friends :)

Not much really. You're really blessed if you have friends or even close friends... Unfortunately I don't know how that feels like.

I do go out once every other week with my family (parents or siblings), does that count?

Edit: I do go work every day though and meet coworkers.

I believe our families can be our best friends. For years my sister was mine. Now days I get the hint of that same person being there, but she has changed.

If you don't count my Shadow, my kids are all my best friends. It's not as hard to parent/guide kids and be their friend as one is told. Just don't go out parting with them.

I have two days a week when I work from home (introvert), and two days a week when I meet with clients one-on-one in between working at home (semi-extrovert), and three times a week when I play music with others (twice it's one-on-one and once it's in a small group), and 1-2 evenings a week when I go out with friends in a group. I probably have one tea date every week or two as well.

I think it's a good balance for me, with a generous amount of alone time, a moderate amount of one-on-one time, and a little bit of large-group activity (where I either listen a lot or try have a one-on-one conversation with someone on the side of the group, LOL).
