Function Fluidity

One thing I have to add is that N is not using S and then building upon it. You see without "S-ing", S does not have the monopoly on your eyes, ears etc. S is just seeing what is and logging it in your brain, N is more seeing whats not really there through what is there. Hard to explain, but N does work on its own. Its not building upon S.

example:
S: sees an apple tree. Its red, green, tall etc.
N: sees an apple tree and starts wonder about its origin, how they relate to the tree, whats going to happen to the tree, etc.

S: Is
N: What if.

edit: Adding more to this. Seeing something with your eyes isn't what S is. We all use our eyes, and its not like having super developed S means you must have 20/20 vision. Its HOW you see what you're seeing, or if you miss the "facts" of what you see for the "meaning" of what you see. That'd be N with low S.
Once you throw your Judging function into things is when you decide what things you are seeing are good, bad, useful, relevant, etc. You are still thinking things without judging them through those [S and N] functions.
