Floating island

This guy made an island for himself out of plastic bottles and he is growing plants and animals on it, it's quite amazing. Here's a youtube video about it:

I swear, I thought this was going to be about Gulliver's Travels or something.

But, wow, that's pretty ... amazing.
I mean, not really something I would pursue. But that is serious dedication. It's impressive.

THAT IS AMAZING!!! I would totally do something like that. I mean, the guy survived two hurricanes, and he has his pets, a washing machine, made a cooker...he must be doing something right!

I wonder if he's looking for a girlfriend...

Although, he's changed his island since 2005 (a hurricane wiped out that one). This was in 2008 (the new island). It's not as nice, but it's more functional:
