Death Penalty

I abhor vengeance. I am opposed to the death penalty so strongly, I have learned not to talk about to people here in the Rockies. Conservative types here. They love the death penalty. They actually think it's cheaper. I try to inform them of the facts on that. Appeals and what not. But they have made up their minds. facts don't matter to them.

I think vengence, retaliation, retribution, revenge, all that, are fine, provided that they get the right people, then its actually natural consequences, which is pretty sweet too.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but... it costs a lot more money on average to have someone on death row than to have someone serve a prison sentence, correct?

Quite a lot more to have them on death row, at least as of 2001/2002 (the last time I checked).
