  • Awww. Thanks for that. :hug:Your ray of light was much appreciated, sis. How's your week been?
It's not hard at all! Just kind of dance from the heart, ya know? I took modern dance in high school, so long ago, I'm ooooooold. lol. just kidding... but I'm glad I did. The Dunham technique really helped me in establishing my own style.
Aww that's cool! Glad you're keeping busy with the things you most enjoy. How's the dancing going?
    Hey there Soulseeker,

There are no levels such as belts in boxing, just titles and experience. At the moment I'm training to do amateur leveled tournaments. I get bruises from the punches but thats a part of training.

    About your dancing,

Are you able to go join another dance class? One that will treat you with respect? How often do you practice the moves of the dance?

I hope all is going well for you.
woah now I'm sfslr. I was barely on the internet for a while

I switched schools for grade 12 so I didn't know many people at my school and I DID go to pride prom with my friends(prom for gays in Toronto) Even some people I didn't know well from my old school were there so it felt like a good way to end highschool. :) I say you should just go with your friends! Why not? If you feel like going that is.
Hey soulseeker, I felt it was time to reply back to your questions.

Yes Iv'e been doing martial arts now for about 5 years, but on and off, so I consider myself to be a beginner.

I hope you are enjoying your ballet and I hope you are training hard. :m059:
I'm doing fine, how are you doing?

    God bless. :mhula:
Wow. I think that would freak me out too, if I discovered some 13 year old tech wizards on more pay than me, but that's the way of the world, and I don't think you have to worry. Enjoy your youth and the freedom you have now. No, it doesn't last forever, but all the more reason to love every minute of it. I was scared of working too, when I was at school. It seemed so unreal and not like anything I could deal with, but by the time I got there, I was ready. You will be ready too. I'm glad you love your dancing so much. Hold onto that, and don't let it go.

So I'm at home at the moment. I'm working the evening shift today (3pm-9pm), so I still have an hour before I must leave to catch the train. I'm not looking forward to it. It's just one of those days when I'd rather hide from the world, but I suppose I'll be just fine when I get there.
Hello sis. I saw you are online, so thought I'd say hi. :) Hope you're well and happy right now.
Thank you for sharing with me. I was sorry to read about your troubles with that one instructor. I know you won't let it put you off dancing though, and I honestly, truly admire your passion and persistence with your dream. It must take a lot of courage to continue when your parents don't really approve. I absolutely feel that you're doing the right thing. As for helping people through dance, well dance is a beautiful art, and just watching it brings much joy and comfort to many people, but also I suppose you could teach dance in a therapeutic way, to allow people to realse their inhibitions and melt their stresses away. Lastly, about God, well none of us really knows about that, no matter how much we might cling to one particular religion or ideology. It's human to doubt, and also human to have faith. No wonder then, if you experience both from time to time. Lots of love to you, sis. I wish you well, and much success with our dancing now and in the future.
I loooooove that you are a dancer. It makes me feel...so not alone here. lol. I have little formal training, but I got Soul like you :D
Such lovely compliments, sis. You really brought a lot of warmth and a radiant smile to me. Thank you. I hope your life moves up, out of just okay, into something much more wonderful. What kind of things do you hope for. What are your recurrent dreams for the fututre?
Im going about an hour away from my family. The perfect distance! Because I can live at school but also come running home to my parents whenever anything bad happens :) I joke I'm gona try to be independant, but I will feel safer being close to home. hehe

Yeah I petty much hang out with my friends, read, play video games, read more, lurk internet, hit drums with sticks

ohhhhh prom year eh:m130: I never went to prom. Cant say I regret it really, I've always had more friends outside of school, cause in highschool there are to many people to deal with all the time so I become really antisocial. hahah not saying it won't be fun for you :) hope your enjoyng your summer!
Thanks for the hugs, lil sis. You're a ray of sunshine to me, you know that? How's life?
