    I completely agree with you, retarded is a very harsh word to use. My friends call me that becuase I have different dreams and aspirations than they do. Since I'm not interested in wealth or living a selfish life they think I must be "retarded". It used to hurt my feelings, but now I take it as a compliment. I'm glad I don't conform to what others view as sucessful. Even if it means being called harsh names. :) I apologize if my username offends you. I didn't mean it to be taken that way. You're more than welcome to just call me Monkey or something. :D

    My brother is much the same. All for the outdoor activity whereas I like the scenery and culture. I'd love to see the scenery in NZ. Meanwhile my brother can jump of things to his heart's content. :D

    LOL I chose retardedmonkey because my friends are always teasing me and calling me retarded. :D And monkey because they are my favorite animal. Baby orangutans ARE cool! :D I'm doing great, about to have dinner soon, thank you for asking! :D

    NZ is on my list too.
    Yeah Aussies are the one's who laugh off something that goes wrong. Not because we think it's funny but it eases the tention. I watched one episode of the Australian version of Lady to Ladette and all the girls were being told off for this habbit. We take alot of things light heartedly that other cultures wouldn't.

    I absolutely love Australia, though I haven't been to any other country either. It's a laid back community (at least where I grew up) with alot of great places to go holidaying. I grew up in Newcastle, which is one of our tourist destinations, so everything around me was set up for entertainment and leisure. :) There's also quite alot of art around the streets, like sculptures, paintings and such.
    I have some scenery shots around where I live on my profile in my albums. I don't have any Newcastle though.

    I love it :) It's a really nice atmosphere and it's nice finding so many people to relate to. :D It's a really nice escape from things for me at the moment.
