How embarrasing - I guess the friendship request on the heels of my last post is a little funny.

I have been following your discussion/consideration about whether you are INFP or INFJ. I came across a distinction on the web which was very helpful in diagnosing preference. It's to do with communication preferences. I'll use the one statement, communicated indirectly and directly - the one you prefer might help you decide.
A parent to a son:
"Hmm... it looks as though we might be running low on milk... and it's almost closing time for the store..." (Indirect - percieving).
"Son, could you please go to the shop and buy some milk, we've almost run out." (Direct - Judging).
