Why havent we fully utilized underground space?

Does everything have to be idealism if it isn't as shitty as humanly possible?

No, but if a goal requires people to change, I classify it as idealism.

In the real world, this just doesn't happen unless it happens naturally.

IDK, maybe thinking you can change what people do is an Fe/Te thing. Good luck trying to force everyone to your ideal.

what causes the real world to change? people.

People are part of the real world. And what is natural?

People are part of the real world.
I'm sorry, but I don't quite infer your point with you stating that people are part of the real world. (try using "therefore")

And what is natural?
I will assert a modification "What is more natural?"

The more a process is natural, the less energy is expended disturbing that process.

How we would get natural light to deeper and deeper underground levels would be problematic as well.

*declares* A complex system of mirrors!!!!!

I think sewage would also be an issue.

whatever you say mr philosophical.... what a waste of a discussion

Mole people.
Even if it were economically feasible, there are other factors.
We would have a large number of those living underground dying from the effect of Radon gas exposure.
Then there would be the psychological & physical effects of living in a world devoid of sun light.
Depression, lack of vitamin D.
Naw. Think I'll pass.
