Who do you write like?

If CS Lewis and Augusten Burroughs had a baby; that would be me, writing-wise...

The Analyzer said: David Foster Wallace, Ann Rice, and Chuck Palahniuk.

HP Lovecraft for my English essay and Psych essay.
Gertrude Stein for one of my forum posts.
Chuck Palahnuik (fight club) for another essay.

Don't have anything creative for it to analyze.

Every tumblr blog post or forum post I paste in gives me a different result. So far I've gotten Cory Doctorow, Charles Dickens, Dan Brown, and Stephen King...

I used to write for documentaries so I tend to write for the ear....mostly. This is also why I use lots of these (....) and these (....).

I write like H. P. Lovecraft.

cheers,
Ian

I input four different stories that I wrote and three of them came out to Stephen King and the other came out to Gertrude Stein. Weird . . . I swear I'm not Stephen King or his double!! XD

Margaret Atwood for a fantasy novel
Arthur Clarke for an erotica
David Foster Wallace for a sci fi experimental novel
(I haven't read anything from the above guys)
Chuck Palahniuk for a poem (^_^)

I write like J. R. R. Tolkien

I stuck the rough draft of chapter one of a book I'm writing.

I tried three times and received three different answers although they are sightly similar in some ways:

Cory Doctorow
Raymond Chandler
Ian Fleming

HP Lovecraft
Stephen King (my favorite author)

I got 'Margaret Atwood'.

K. Vonnegut and H. S. Thompson.

My writing styles are all over the place. I used various blog entries. Some in poem form, some literal, and whatever the other form I write in that's cryptic & metaphorical. Jealous of everyone who got Shakespeare, Last, and Serenity!!!

My most common results were: H.P. Lovecraft, Anne Rice, and Gertrude Stein.

This was a fun project, and I was glad I had writing samples to submit. :)
