    Like many words, there are multiple definitions and neither is more true than the other, unless being used in a specific context, then we would use one definition over another to make sense in that specific context.

    rather than establish an updated meaning for each individual word, i'd bring attention to the elasticity of language and the nature of semantics. "fag" without context is just a noise or ink on paper. it's a vehicle of intent, not the intent itself.
