I watched an inpring talk today and I shared it with almost everyone I know

I've found this very helpful since environment is a big deal to me [MENTION=14012]Gay Fish[/MENTION] also inspired me with the conversation we had after ^_^
The path I walked into was kinda weird.I was in that institute of mine and I quit .I was in that school and I did the same because of the same problem and people started telling me I had to stop doing what I'm doing cuz you can find negative people everywhere and you need to be flexible and stuff and I know that to some extent but I kept telling people that it's gonna be hard and oh ...

then I send this to [MENTION=14012]Gay Fish[/MENTION] when we were talking about this topic some days ago and ...

And then I heard the same quote in that talk... WOW

He works his works in mysterious ways indeed...

Finally someone with a love for Ted talks. I might actually participate here, we will see.
 
Ted Talks is awesome. Look up aquatic apes and be floored.

He has many excellent points about how we find our passion in work field and what matters to us the most. :)

Like these three things which he said, are very important:

1. Unique strengths
2. Values
3. Experiences (if we have failed in some particular thing in or had a great experience in something etc.).

Also he spoke about how much our surroundings affect to us. Sooo true! Our surroundings have huge impact on everything really, but it's about yourself too and how you manage those surroundings.

It's important to be around people who make you feel inspired & positive and are supportive & encouraging.
Dish out those things and people from your life, who are just toxic, negative and burdensome. They are only holding you back from doing things which really matter to you and make you feel awesome.

But the most important thing he said is... Nothing can stop you. You can control your life, you have all the power you need. :)

absolutely correct

As an infj I suffer from negative surrounding.you know what I'm talking about. Extroverted feeling gives us hard time and if the number of negative people around me become quite more then the positive people I quit ...

people tells me to stop doing so but ...Iranian people ... well we need to work more on things Scot mentioned. more than any other countries I guess

Yeah, our current society is very extroverted but more and more people are noticing the introverts too, I feel like which is great.

Oh, I assume this thread is gonna be filled with to much interesting clips of talks, so that it's nearly impossible to watch them all. TED-talks is TED-talks - good stuff!

honestly the purpose of the thread was to have a reminder to watch TED talks once in a while.
I stopped watching them some time ago and I really need to be inspired so...

TED tried to disassociate themselves after they recorded these three.
I think they are great talks that ask a lot of good (yet still very controversial) questions.
