Saving America. Recognizing the traitor and terrorist elements at work against it.

Yes we can squabble about what real freedom is. Who has more etc.. America simply has a lot more freedom than other countries. Freedom for women to vote, freedom to make a life of your own choosing. The recognition that all men are created equal even though it has taken us a long long time to actually recognize that...

Its not necessarily freedom itself they hate. Its the possibility of what it brings with it.

so long as they "choose" to agree with you - otherwise they can have their voting rights removed, their citizenship revoked, and be placed under surveillance?

honestly, cannot determine whether you are being facetious or serious... please clarify.

So any contemplation of an economic system other than what is commonly accepted as capitalism by a US Citizen is treason?
That's bologna! Our constitution guarantees us the right, nay the duty, to make changes to our society. It gives us a format to do it and preserves the right of the minority to put the breaks on any change that is not overwhelmingly accepted by the citizenry.

This adherence to an economic system, framed as it is, reeks of religious dogma.

Excellent point. Perhaps its better than to say any attempts to instill a known to fail economic system should be viewed as a deliberate and calculated attempt to damage America and held in treasonous regard.

Here is an interesting thing. We are discussing it whereas otherwise it might not be.

Your name is not Even Thorazine ? (as in "Even Thorazine couldn't cool his febrile brain into accepting some semblance of reason.")

Clever. I got that.

it appears that you have correctly described the current state of things. but rather than presenting interesting digressions, i will prefer that you actually respond to my queries.

This will take a bit of explanation. Will have to do so on laptop a bit later

im concerned about the way that certain attitudes expressed in this thread seem to conflate national identity with political economy and communism with socialism.

This is blatently untrue.

i think maybe it is untrue. an alternative possibility that has occurred to me to explain why anyone might "hate" America could be due to resentment over the vast quantity of wealth it has amassed to itself at the expense of other world entities; maybe people formulate beliefs that this wealth should be more equitably distributed worldwide. im not necessarily suggesting that this perspective is "fair"... just saying that this may be a reason that people think of for why they may "hate" America, rather than simple jealousy. because after all, people are complex creatures.

Really? People screaming death to America doesnt seem seem to indicate something other than hate. Perhaps I have that wrong though.

Im not sure what you are trying to say here.

isnt hatred such a powerful and complex emotion? i have experienced it before, and its so overwhelming! its like the deeper you look into it, the more of it that there is to see. it is not a more simple emotion, coming out of nowhere, like desire for sensory gratification: "i think i will experience and direct some hatred today" is not the same thing as "i want a candy". it is a more complicated thing, and probably usually has multiple causes, and many different layers of thought process involved with it.

I believe that more often then not this is welcomed and even fostered by these peoples countries. How nice it must be to focus hatred of the people away from your own failed government to one that has little to nothing to so with their daily lives. It makes it so much easier to rule.

im sorry that you are not sure about what i am trying to say. for my part, i tried to express myself clearly. i am sorry if i have not expressed myself clearly enough to convey any useful meaning.

Not a problem. I am simply tryimg to understand your concern in a way that allows me to address it.
