Trump has always had a big mouth, thus giving him more transparency than any other candidate out there. He hasn't been preparing for this day, he hasn't had to watch what he says. Anyone who says his locker room talk about women is deplorable have never sat in a cockpit. It's not new news here that many men actually talk like this, should we be offended? I don't care, I honestly don't. There are aspects to Trumps character I absolutely dislike, do I think it will affect his ability to be a great president? Absolutely not. Is he xenophobic and all Trump's supporters xenophobic? Absolutely not. We do have logic, and in that logic we simply cannot be the humanitarians of the entire world.

Unbelievable to me. I've heard these excuses for Trump's behaviour and statements (the locker room talk excuse) and quite frankly I don't buy it--not for a second. Those comments reveal what he truly believes that his fame and wealth allow him and entitle him to sexually assault any woman he wants to at any time. What does that say about him as a person? I will leave that for you to figure out. I think you are just blinding yourself his grave character flaws and hoping for the best.

Do you have an idea what the last comment sounds like to a non-American? Its the height of arrogance that you guys actually believe you act as the "humanitarians of the entire world". The truth is America has always acted in its self interest and will continue to do so however you define it. Kissinger said America has no friends or allies only interests and thats the unvarnished truth.

Many men-- most men do not act towards and talk about women the way Trump has and continues to do. It's not normal guy behavior.

Mmmm.... weeellllll..... hmmmmm...... I don't think that's true.

The DNC failed us, why the fuck would we vote for a neocon "democrat" who basically has 99% republican policies? DID NOT VOTE FOR TRUMP OR CLINTON BTW

Fuck both of them.

You know who would have won? Bernie Sanders. Fuck the DNC for putting up Hilary the crook instead of a Dem who would have actually won

as for trump

pretty sure he is going to get assassinated right soon so I ain't too worried about it
Spot on, but will never be assainated.

Haven't you seen how free we have made everyone?
All those governments we've toppled have always worked out so well for us.

I really think Clinton aced it. She's not in jail right now even though she will be. A criminal who got to run for President and got as close as she did. That's an ace imo for a criminal.

You might. And @CindyLou liked your post. So you two think most men behave that way toward women? And that it's normal?

I'd say that once I left middle school every guy has made a "locker room" comment at least once while in a locker room. In the army we just said it openly. Women have their own version that they would say openly in the army. That's been my experience. Worth noting it's not a behavior toward women, it's a comment made towards other guys who are usually changing out of their sweaty underwear.

I haven't been in a locker room in years. They probably just talk about Pokémon go now.

Agree with the's comments.

@acd surely you cannot be surprised that men boast and play up around other men... the content of which is generally understood to be about 5% accurate, and 95% bs. Think fishing stories, highschool sporting stories, sexual exploit stories, deal of the century stories, car/driving stories, etc.

Men are competitive with each other; and like males of other species, there's a lot of play-competition going on when there aren't women within earshot.

Why don't you start an exploratory thread on the stuff men talk about among themselves.

Another thing is that he was caught saying that in a private setting to another guy. Besides his rape accusations, he hasn't been caught doing it to my knowledge.

My point was that I didn't believe most men regarded /treated women as disrespectfully as Trump's comments and behavior toward women has been.

After his "locker room" banter came out, athletes in the US were quick to say they don't talk that way.. Its not normal guy talk to brag about grabbing women's pussies because you're rich and think you can do anything. People are trying to normalize it. My point was that it's not normal guy behavior. Am I giving men too much credit and you all are a bunch of pigs with basically no respect for women? Because you don't talk about people you respect like that.

Perhaps the current crop of athletes don't talk this way. Anyone over 35 grew up in a world without internet porn, without online discussions about semen milkshakes, or much knowledge about sex-related practices others may follow. The only forum where these topics could be broached/explored were private areas, where taboo topics could be discussed without offense to women: aka the locker room, gents clubs, fishing/hunting trips, military barracks, and other such gender segregated areas.

Trump is of that generation.

I'm sure he could shoot someone in the face and people would find a way to defend him or excuse him. Why, he can do anything!

I don't think anyone ever has to excuse what they say in a private conversation.

Probably. We send kids everyday to shoot people in the face.

Anyways its totally normal behavior to say anything you want in private conversation. Look at the shit that gets talked about on this forum? I think it must be said that no one is saying that it is normal to just walk up to a woman and say "Hi Im rich" *then proceed to grab pussy and everyone is ok with that*.
