Combating Apathy and Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy sucks, but thank goodness for apathy... just imagine if no one was apathetic and everyone with conflicting ideals started being passionate... the world would be in shambles :p

Aquila, I'd like to think that hypocrisy is subject to the world of beliefs and logic, and principles....it's hard to call someone an emotional hypocrite because of the volatility, of emotions....we are often changing frequently emotionally, so it's rather impossible to say that we are a hypocrite or a traitor of our own emotions unless we go against a staid position we have, but that only pertains to the logic/principle of the matter. and when we lie, or delude ourselves into thinking that things will exist in the same emotional status that they've been in, we are wrong....

Getting yourself out of a rut, (even if you think that it's hypocritical to be in one) believing that it's hypocritical to be in one in the first place is counter-productive, and isn't fixing the the rut; emotions aren't like logic; you have to ACCEPT the state your in to get out of it.....I learned that the HARD way....but that's the way to do it usually....otherwise it has to just subside....

Give it time, it won't just dissipate, but it will get better, and soon, you'll be out.....the best way to stay out of a rut, is to go through the rut.
