I am very aware of what is going on around me. When it comes to the emotional dynamics of a situation I understand what

Can any of you relate?

In my own way, yes.

As a witness, you get on the stand, and the first thing asked of you is "..to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

It's the part of "..the whole truth.." I have issues with.

You are made to take an "obligation" to do this. Yet, one side will ask you a "yes or no" question, with full knowledge that a simple "yes or no" is not suffice. If you attempt to "tell the whole truth" with more than just yes or no, they cut you off and spank you for not giving a one word answer, which does not "tell the whole truth".

It is infuriating.
