I think Ni is an interesting mode of operation, for sure. I can't say I'm attracted to it, because it doesn't have much of an outward expression. Ne, on the other hand,
is expressed outwardly, so I notice it immediately, and as my own Ne is strong, people who have Ne "get me" in that intuitive way. In terms of functions that I'm attracted to, Fe probably takes the cake.
Ni-doms seem to approach things a little backward to me. For example, when I have some sort of idea/intuition about something, I then think "does this make sense?" That seems "normal" to me. Ideas that don't have some sort of strong foundational logic to them are discarded, unless I'm joking around. On the other hand, the final arbiter of any sort of perception for a Ni-dom is their
Ni. It ultimately comes down to something like "does this
seem/feel right?" For me, just because something seems right, it doesn't mean that it is... so I find myself continually questioning the conclusions of Ni-doms, not because I think less of them, but because my brain is unable to operate in the same manner.
So basically, this:
They don't need a lot of data to make a conclusion, which can be impressive but is also prone to error.
However, the many experiences I've had in my life with INTJs and INTPs have demonstrated that Ti/Te is also prone to error... because they're human. Te types can easily be blinded by "reliable" data which may be within a different context than they purport, and Ti types can tend to assume their logic is universal, when it in fact is often subjective (e.g. get a few INTPs in a room, make them discuss a few controversial topics, watch the arguments fly).
