Crazy isn't it?
Most people are still totally unaware of how this agenda is rolling on rapidly
The public is a frog being boiled slowly
So on one hand a person first learning that sort of thing could freak out and panic and think ''oh my god that's so scary!!!''
And yes it is scary but ignoring it or looking the other way like many new age types do doesn't make it go away it only allows it to carry on unabated
So rather than freaking out and rather than going into a enw age state of denial and trying to meditate and think happy thoughts so that the bad stuff goes away the only sane option left now is to wake enough of the public up that we the people can take over control of that technology so that it cannot be used against us
But people are not rallying fast enough because they either don't know and understand what is going on or they know about it but are remaining in denial for whetever reason
I think the new agers who believe themselves to be 'awakened' are actually in a new slumber!
They seem to think that some magic cosmic rays are going to beam down and solve everything and that they do not have to do anything but sit, meditate, eat yoghurt, think happy thoughts and ignore any scary sounding information which is basically a complete abjugation of RESPONSIBILITY
The point about the 'awakening' ie becoming conscious of the things that we were once unconscious of is that we are then supposed to use that new awareness to inform words, actions and thoughts in such a way as to play a pro-active part in growing the awakening and shaping our society in a more positive way
A lof o new age types don't realise that many of the gurus in the movement are controlled opposition planted there to calm people down and offer them a ego defence coping strategy of doing absolutely NOTHING whilst pretending that it is all going to just go away!
Very few people it seems want to get down to the hard work of taking responsibility for themselves and their world
they've popped out of the matrix programme and selected a new one to go back into it!
I think we're pretty far down the series, so some people need to do more or less listening to their higher-selves and more or less chilling out. Your higher self is into getting you to work, and I'm okay with that, but he should try to be kind. I think mine is telling me to take a siesta. *sunglasses*

The Royal Navy is investigating claims by an apparent whistle-blower that there is a “complete lack of concern for security” that makes the Trident nuclear weapons programme vulnerable to terror attack.
The claims were made in an online post by 25-year-old William McNeilly, and included a photograph of his Navy ID card.
McNeilly said he had “sacrificed” his freedom and a well-paid career to make the claims in an 18-page report entitled “The Secret Nuclear Threat”, and that after posting it he had gone on the run.
The Ministry of Defence confirmed that McNeilly was a member of the naval service, and a source said the Navy was “concerned for the whereabouts and wellbeing of AB (able seaman) McNeilly and working closely with civilian police to locate him”.

File photo In his report, McNeilly claimed he had witnessed a host of inadequate systems and checks while training with the Trident programme, from “things like food hygiene” to failed launch tests, flooding on board submarines, fires in the missile compartment and “a complete lack of security”.
“If airport security and nuclear weapon security were both compared to prisons,” McNeilly writes, “the airport would be Alcatraz and base security would be house arrest.”

McNeilly described the state of Trident security as “the biggest threat the UK faces”, and said he was only releasing “selected information” in order to avoid damaging security further.

A former aide to Prince Philip groomed a child by taking her to Buckingham Palace before repeatedly assaulting her, a court has heard.
Benjamin Herman, 80, is accused of abusing the girl, who was allegedly aged around 12 at the time.
He is accused of repeatedly molesting her while serving as the Duke of Edinburgh’s equerry in the early 70s.
The abuse reportedly took place at a house in south-west London which was used by military personnel, where Herman was living at the time.
He was a serving major in the Royal Marines on secondment as equerry, handling the Duke's private matters and engagements.
The former aide to Prince Philip is accused of grooming a child by taking her to Buckingham Palace before repeatedly assaulting her The alleged victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told the jury at London's Blackfriars Crown Court that she felt "privileged" when Herman drove her to Buckingham Palace in his VW camper van.
"There was a security person who he spoke to and allowed us in," she recalled. "We circled around the forecourt and went out again."
The alleged victim told the court of four occasions on which Herman sexually abused her in his home and in a nearby garage.
She told the court that she has since told friends what he did to her, but did not go to the police until November 2012, after the abuse carried out by Jimmy Savile was made public.
Herman denies three counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 13 and one count of indecency with a child between January 1972 and January 1974.

The UK is admitting it is slipping into DEFLATION for the first time in 55 years!
This could be a good time to buy gold and silver! Silver might be more practical because its lower value means that you can buy smaller quantities of goods with a silver coin. For example a small gold coin might be worth over £100 which would mean that if there was a currency collapse or bank holiday and you could not get money out of the ATM's you would have to want to buy over £100 of goods on the black market
So silver coins might be more exchangeable in day to day use
They are also more affordable
Also more NWO controlled countries are moving towards the CASHLESS society which is one more step on the road to the NWO because if we have no physical cash the authorities are able to control the flows of our wealth by electronic means and can shut us out of our accounts. Whereas if you hold physical silver you have something tangible to trade on the black market

Economists have warned the Government against “complacency” after George Osborne claimed that Britain’s first dip into deflation in more than half a century was “good news” for families and the economy.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) declined by 0.1 per cent in the year to April, mainly due to declining fuel costs and lower food prices, it was announced yesterday – the first year-on-year fall since the price series began in 1996.
Statistical modelling by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) suggests this was probably the first annual drop in CPI since a three-month period of falling prices in 1960.
Japan has been struggling to escape from deflation for much of the past two decades and economists warn a long period of falling prices is economically damaging. But Mr Osborne welcomed the “positive effects” of lower prices.

Pound punished as UK slips into deflation[/h]Food and energy prices were both 3 per cent cheaper than a year earlier in April. Liquid fuels, including petrol, were 26 per cent cheaper than in April 2014, according to the ONS, helping to ease the prolonged squeeze on people’s wallets.
Last month, the transport sector was the biggest contributor to the decline in the 12-month inflation rate. Alcohol, clothing and furniture prices were also a drag. Groceries, restaurants and recreation made a minor upward contribution.
The Chancellor claimed: “We should not mistake this for damaging deflation.” His optimism was echoed by the Bank of England Governor, Mark Carney, who said the latest figures should be no cause for alarm and that the public should enjoy low prices while they last.
“We expect inflation to be very low over the next few months but over the course of the year, as we get towards the end, inflation should start to pick up towards our 2 per cent target,” said Mr Carney.
Many City economists agree with the Bank of England that deflation will prove temporary, pointing to the bounce-back in the global oil price since January. “Broader signs of inflation weakness are easing and we are seeing less aggressive high street discounting, higher oil prices, diminishing labour market slack and a steady recovery in wages,” said Adam Chester of Lloyds Bank.
Andrew Sentence, a former member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee and now a senior adviser to PricewaterhouseCoopers, said deflation would be “good for the economy” by boosting inflation-adjusted consumer spending power.
However, the celebrated fund manager Neil Woodford, of Woodford Investment Management, warned against complacency and argued that weak demand, as a well as the global oil price slump, is helping to drive down prices. “Over the medium to long term, deflation remains a more significant risk to the global economy than a renewed bout of inflation, in my view,” he said.
Nick Beecroft, a senior market analyst at Saxo Bank, said the decline in “core inflation”, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, to just 0.8 per cent in April was a sign this may not be the benign deflation cited. “The supply from low cost overseas producers is too large and demand is too weak, with low pay growth and a cautious, ageing consumer,” he said.

Basically our best hope is that enough of the public can become conciously aware of this so that we can then stop playing their game and start playing a more beneficial game of sharing, community, peace, healthy food, holistic medicine, sustainable permaculture etc etc
But at the moment most people are locked down into the mindsets that the system is pushing them into through their media and education system and through various silent but harmful technologies

But i wouldn't say it is to do with peoples nature because human nature has different aspects to it
So as Jung would say we have an 'animal nature' which in spiritual terms you could equate to the lower base chakras or in freemasonic terms you could equate to the generative organs
But then we have our hearts which communicate to the brain. The heart is of course the heart chakra and should provide compassion and empathy. It is linked to the right hemisphere of the brain
Then we have mind which is the seat of the ego which gets caught up in the petty squabbles (see above)
The left hemisphere of the brain is INTELLECT or 'lucifer' in religious terminology; a luciferian is someone who is imbalanced towards their left brain and obsessed with logic and categorisation and fails to balance that out with the right hemisphere which is to do with connectivity and wholeness. So lucifer is an imbalance towards INTELLECT
Intellect is not bad per se as long as it is balanced out with the right hemisphere
The system is designed to pull people into INTELLECT and to shun for example the arts and spirituality and things that see things more holistically
But INTELLECT is a myopic view of the world so it is not INTELLIGENCE which is the balancing of the two hemispheres of the brain and the balancing of the mind and animal nature with the heart's compassion
So there are people out there who are doing intellect tasks set for them by the system eg exams who then think they are intelligent when they achieve well at those left brain tasks; for example note how many people in this thread who don't question authority and who don't think for themselves cite their academic backgrounds as proof that they are intelligent!
But those same people are unable to see the manipulations being carried on under their own noses by their governments so they are not intelligent (yet)
Living in denial too is not intelligent because it allows the problems in the world to deepen and it causes cognitive dissonance within us leading to mental health problems as we attempt to live within a lie
Society will heal and the problems in the world will cease when people are able to become INTELLIGENT and COMPASSIONATE
There is nothing intelligent or compassionate about turning the other way and letting a corrupt government murder people around the world whilst stealing our own freedoms and wealth at home
That is not clever! That is stupid and cowardly
So anyway....yeah i don't think it is to do with nature rather with how we perceive the world and when people start perceiving correctly then they will feed other aspects of their nature and balance out the human creature better
The manipulators constantly seek to push humanity into the ANIMAL NATURE hence all the overt sexuality and gratuitous violence on TV for example and all the wars etc because they want to imbalance us to our animal nature side which then unleashes destructive forces and stops us engaging with our hearts and higher nature ('spirit')

A total of $56.73 million has been paid over the last three decades, to ensure that the U.S. Congress is populated only by those who accept the agenda of the American Zionist Council.
This, according to the official record, was the amount paid by the American Zionist Council from 1978-2014 to ensure the selection of its approved congressional candidates in order that the House of Representatives and the Senate would support the Political Zionist agenda that includes the illegal colonisation of the Occupied West Bank.
This is to frustrate the will of the UN and the international community, including the European Union. The Netanyahu government objective being to create a ‘Greater Israel’ and the compulsory ‘transfer’ of all indigenous Arabs from out of the former land of Palestine. This goes directly against the provisions of the British Mandate government’s Balfour Declaration – upon which the state of Israel was established, in 1948, under pressure from the AZC (the forerunner of AIPAC) – which explicitly states:

In recent weeks we’ve seen numerous reports of how banks are actively working with governments to restrict cash usage. JP Morgan Chase, one of the world’s largest banks, has advised their customers that storing cash in their safe deposit boxes is no longer allowed – for your safety, of course.
The new policy sounds ridiculous but makes complete sense when you consider that you would then be left with no other choice than to hold your money exclusively in your bank account, where the bank will simply charge you for the privilege of depositing your funds in their fine financial institution.
Any normal working class individual would have the same reaction you’re problem having right now to this news: take your cash out of the bank.
While that may sound like a great plan, it turns out that bank employees have been told by the government that they should be reporting to law enforcement officials any suspicious looking cash transactions, especially withdrawals, even if they are for just a couple of thousand dollars so that enforcement agents can then seize those funds.
They want to ensure total control and by controlling your cash flow, they control you. It’s as simple as that. As noted below, the ideal situation for the world’s central bankers and governments is a total ban on cash transactions. It is, after all, the 21st century. Who needs cash when you have a debit card or phone payment systems?
Plus, there’s terrorism to contend with and we all know that only terrorists, criminals and shady underworld types use cash.
Moreover, in the event the President or other bureaucrat declares a financial crisis, the government can move with unprecedented speed to stabilize the system by simply compelling you to spend money to boost economic activity. And by “compelling” we mean forcing you through direct taxation and withdrawal of your funds.

They’ve created a Twitter “hashtag” and have promised to stage a sit-in outside the offices until they get their money.

They were promised hundreds or thousands of dollars to “take trips that directly help attendees advocate for police accountability and black lives.”

Why do vampires from Dracula to Angel seem to crave the blood of the young and beautiful? The undead may be onto something. Young blood, it seems, has special healing properties that have been lost in older blood.
A recent finding by scientists from the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, and Duke University challenges long-held ideas about why our bones have a harder time healing as we age. Their research discovered that old mouse bones mend like youthful bones do when they're exposed to young blood after a fracture.
“The traditional concept is that as you get older, your bone cells kind of wear out so they can't heal as well, and we thought we'd find that during this study as well,” explains study co-author Benjamin Alman, of the Hospital for Sick Children. “But it turns out that it's not the bone cells, it's the blood cells. As you get older, the blood cells change the way they behave when you have an injury, and as a result the cells that heal bone aren't able to work as efficiently.”
When a bone is fractured, significant bleeding occurs at the site. Inflammatory blood cells help spur the process by which new bone cells heal the break over time. Alman and colleagues found that the blood cells of older mice don't drive this healing the way younger blood cells do, but they also wanted to see how those older bones would heal when exposed to young blood.
The researchers paired lab mice, one old and one young, and subjected them to bone fractures, but that wasn't all they had in common. The living animals' circulatory systems were also joined together by a 150-year-old surgical technique known as parabiosis. Scientists removed a layer of skin from each mouse and stitched the exposed surfaces together. As the animals healed their capillaries joined, enabling their two hearts to pump the same blood throughout the two bodies as a single system. Parabiosis, which has been gaining new popularity in aging research, allowed Alman and colleagues to see what impacts the circulating factors of the younger mouse's blood had when introduced into the body of an older mouse.
The experiment, published this week in Nature Communications, suggests that young blood cells secrete some as-yet-unknown molecule, likely a protein or possibly some other chemical, that speeds up the healing of fractured bone. The molecule apparently does so by regulating levels of beta-catenin in bone cells known as osteoblasts. Keeping beta-catenin at the proper levels appears crucial for the formation of new high-density bone.
This ability is greatly diminished in older animals' blood because it no longer secretes the molecule, whose exact chemical nature remains a mystery at this point. “My guess is that there are a number of proteins involved that are made differently as we get older, and that they are responsible for the difficulty in healing bone,” Alman says.
The findings could prove good news for aging humans, but healing our bones won’t require the type of transfusions used in the experiment—nor will it borrow the synthesized “True Blood” variety that may soon enter clinical trials. Sharing human blood in this manner raises a number of red flags ranging from practicality to possible medical complications.
Instead, the critical next step is identifying the exact chemical nature of the molecule produced by young blood cells that older cells can no longer secrete. Pinpointing it could drive development of future drugs that would help enable older bone cells to work like they did in youth, by either spurring older blood to function more like younger blood does, or by simply delivering the proteins that the blood once did, enabling bone cells to do their healing work.
“It's not the cells responsible for making new bone that have changed,” Alman says. “[Bone cells] still have that ability to act like they are young again.”

A declassified secret US government document obtained by the conservative public interest law firm, Judicial Watch, shows that Western governments deliberately allied with al-Qaeda and other Islamist extremist groups to topple Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad.
The document reveals that in coordination with the Gulf states and Turkey, the West intentionally sponsored violent Islamist groups to destabilize Assad, and that these “supporting powers” desired the emergence of a “Salafist Principality” in Syria to “isolate the Syrian regime.”
According to the newly declassified US document, the Pentagon foresaw the likely rise of the ‘Islamic State’ as a direct consequence of this strategy, and warned that it could destabilize Iraq. Despite anticipating that Western, Gulf state and Turkish support for the “Syrian opposition” — which included al-Qaeda in Iraq — could lead to the emergence of an ‘Islamic State’ in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the document provides no indication of any decision to reverse the policy of support to the Syrian rebels. On the contrary, the emergence of an al-Qaeda affiliated “Salafist Principality” as a result is described as a strategic opportunity to isolate Assad.

The revelations contradict the official line of Western governments on their policies in Syria, and raise disturbing questions about secret Western support for violent extremists abroad, while using the burgeoning threat of terror to justify excessive mass surveillance and crackdowns on civil liberties at home.
Among the batch of documents obtained by Judicial Watch through a federal lawsuit, released earlier this week, is a US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) document then classified as “secret,” dated 12th August 2012.
The DIA provides military intelligence in support of planners, policymakers and operations for the US Department of Defense and intelligence community.
So far, media reporting has focused on the evidence that the Obama administration knew of arms supplies from a Libyan terrorist stronghold to rebels in Syria.
Some outlets have reported the US intelligence community’s internal prediction of the rise of ISIS. Yet none have accurately acknowledged the disturbing details exposing how the West knowingly fostered a sectarian, al-Qaeda-driven rebellion in Syria.
Charles Shoebridge, a former British Army and Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism intelligence officer, said:

The newly declassified DIA document from 2012 confirms that the main component of the anti-Assad rebel forces by this time comprised Islamist insurgents affiliated to groups that would lead to the emergence of ISIS. Despite this, these groups were to continue receiving support from Western militaries and their regional allies.
Noting that “the Salafist [sic], the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI [al-Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria,” the document states that “the West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support the opposition,” while Russia, China and Iran “support the [Assad] regime.”
The 7-page DIA document states that al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), the precursor to the ‘Islamic State in Iraq,’ (ISI) which became the ‘Islamic State in Iraq and Syria,’ “supported the Syrian opposition from the beginning, both ideologically and through the media.”
The formerly secret Pentagon report notes that the “rise of the insurgency in Syria” has increasingly taken a “sectarian direction,” attracting diverse support from Sunni “religious and tribal powers” across the region.
In a section titled ‘The Future Assumptions of the Crisis,’ the DIA report predicts that while Assad’s regime will survive, retaining control over Syrian territory, the crisis will continue to escalate “into proxy war.”
The document also recommends the creation of “safe havens under international sheltering, similar to what transpired in Libya when Benghazi was chosen as the command centre for the temporary government.”
In Libya, anti-Gaddafi rebels, most of whom were al-Qaeda affiliated militias, were protected by NATO ‘safe havens’ (aka ‘no fly zones’).

In a strikingly prescient prediction, the Pentagon document explicitly forecasts the probable declaration of “an Islamic State through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria.”
Nevertheless, “Western countries, the Gulf states and Turkey are supporting these efforts” by Syrian “opposition forces” fighting to “control the eastern areas (Hasaka and Der Zor), adjacent to Western Iraqi provinces (Mosul and Anbar)”:

In response to my questions about the strategy, the British government simply denied the Pentagon report’s startling revelations of deliberate Western sponsorship of violent extremists in Syria. A British Foreign Office spokesperson said:

Security analyst Shoebridge, however, who has tracked Western support for Islamist terrorists in Syria since the beginning of the war, pointed out that the secret Pentagon intelligence report exposes fatal contradictions at the heart of official pronunciations:
The DIA intelligence report shows, he said, that the rise of ISIS only became possible in the context of the Syrian insurgency — “there is no mention of US troop withdrawal from Iraq as a catalyst for Islamic State’s rise, which is the contention of innumerable politicians and pundits.” The report demonstrates that:

Critics of the US-led strategy in the region have repeatedly raised questions about the role of coalition allies in intentionally providing extensive support to Islamist terrorist groups in the drive to destabilize the Assad regime in Syria.
The conventional wisdom is that the US government did not retain sufficient oversight on the funding to anti-Assad rebel groups, which was supposed to be monitored and vetted to ensure that only ‘moderate’ groups were supported.
However, the newly declassified Pentagon report proves unambiguously that years before ISIS launched its concerted offensive against Iraq, the US intelligence community was fully aware that Islamist militants constituted the core of Syria’s sectarian insurgency.
Despite that, the Pentagon continued to support the Islamist insurgency, even while anticipating the probability that doing so would establish an extremist Salafi stronghold in Syria and Iraq.
As Shoebridge told me, “The documents show that not only did the US government at the latest by August 2012 know the true extremist nature and likely outcome of Syria’s rebellion” — namely, the emergence of ISIS — “but that this was considered an advantage for US foreign policy. This also suggests a decision to spend years in an effort to deliberately mislead the West’s public, via a compliant media, into believing that Syria’s rebellion was overwhelmingly ‘moderate.’”
Annie Machon, a former MI5 intelligence officer who blew the whistle in the 1990s on MI6 funding of al-Qaeda to assassinate Libya’s former leader Colonel Gaddafi, similarly said of the revelations:
This strategy was repeated on a grand scale in the 2011 NATO intervention in Libya, said Machon, where the CIA and MI6 were:

Several US government officials have conceded that their closest allies in the anti-ISIS coalition were funding violent extremist Islamist groups that became integral to ISIS.
US Vice President Joe Biden, for instance, admitted last year that Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Turkey had funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to Islamist rebels in Syria that metamorphosed into ISIS.
But he did not admit what this internal Pentagon document demonstrates — that the entire covert strategy was sanctioned and supervised by the US, Britain, France, Israel and other Western powers.
The strategy appears to fit a policy scenario identified by a recent US Army-commissioned RAND Corp report.
The report, published four years before the DIA document, called for the US “to capitalise on the Shia-Sunni conflict by taking the side of the conservative Sunni regimes in a decisive fashion and working with them against all Shiite empowerment movements in the Muslim world.”
The US would need to contain “Iranian power and influence” in the Gulf by “shoring up the traditional Sunni regimes in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Pakistan.” Simultaneously, the US must maintain “a strong strategic relationship with the Iraqi Shiite government” despite its Iran alliance.
The RAND report confirmed that the “divide and rule” strategy was already being deployed “to create divisions in the jihadist camp. Today in Iraq such a strategy is being used at the tactical level.”
The report observed that the US was forming “temporary alliances” with al-Qaeda affiliated “nationalist insurgent groups” that have fought the US for four years in the form of “weapons and cash.” Although these nationalists “have cooperated with al-Qaeda against US forces,” they are now being supported to exploit “the common threat that al-Qaeda now poses to both parties.”
The 2012 DIA document, however, further shows that while sponsoring purportedly former al-Qaeda insurgents in Iraq to counter al-Qaeda, Western governments were simultaneously arming al-Qaeda insurgents in Syria.
The revelation from an internal US intelligence document that the very US-led coalition supposedly fighting ‘Islamic State’ today, knowingly created ISIS in the first place, raises troubling questions about recent government efforts to justify the expansion of state anti-terror powers.
In the wake of the rise of ISIS, intrusive new measures to combat extremism including mass surveillance, the Orwellian ‘prevent duty’ and even plans to enable government censorship of broadcasters, are being pursued on both sides of the Atlantic, much of which disproportionately targets activists, journalists and ethnic minorities, especially Muslims.

A declassified secret US government document obtained by the conservative public interest law firm, Judicial Watch, shows that Western governments deliberately allied with al-Qaeda and other Islamist extremist groups to topple Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad.
The document reveals that in coordination with the Gulf states and Turkey, the West intentionally sponsored violent Islamist groups to destabilize Assad, and that these “supporting powers” desired the emergence of a “Salafist Principality” in Syria to “isolate the Syrian regime.”
According to the newly declassified US document, the Pentagon foresaw the likely rise of the ‘Islamic State’ as a direct consequence of this strategy, and warned that it could destabilize Iraq. Despite anticipating that Western, Gulf state and Turkish support for the “Syrian opposition” — which included al-Qaeda in Iraq — could lead to the emergence of an ‘Islamic State’ in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the document provides no indication of any decision to reverse the policy of support to the Syrian rebels. On the contrary, the emergence of an al-Qaeda affiliated “Salafist Principality” as a result is described as a strategic opportunity to isolate Assad.
[h=4]Hypocrisy[/h]
The revelations contradict the official line of Western governments on their policies in Syria, and raise disturbing questions about secret Western support for violent extremists abroad, while using the burgeoning threat of terror to justify excessive mass surveillance and crackdowns on civil liberties at home.
Among the batch of documents obtained by Judicial Watch through a federal lawsuit, released earlier this week, is a US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) document then classified as “secret,” dated 12th August 2012.
The DIA provides military intelligence in support of planners, policymakers and operations for the US Department of Defense and intelligence community.
So far, media reporting has focused on the evidence that the Obama administration knew of arms supplies from a Libyan terrorist stronghold to rebels in Syria.
Some outlets have reported the US intelligence community’s internal prediction of the rise of ISIS. Yet none have accurately acknowledged the disturbing details exposing how the West knowingly fostered a sectarian, al-Qaeda-driven rebellion in Syria.
Charles Shoebridge, a former British Army and Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism intelligence officer, said:
“Given the political leanings of the organisation that obtained these documents, it’s unsurprising that the main emphasis given to them thus far has been an attempt to embarrass Hilary Clinton regarding what was known about the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi in 2012. However, the documents also contain far less publicized revelations that raise vitally important questions of the West’s governments and media in their support of Syria’s rebellion.”
[h=4]The West’s Islamists[/h]
The newly declassified DIA document from 2012 confirms that the main component of the anti-Assad rebel forces by this time comprised Islamist insurgents affiliated to groups that would lead to the emergence of ISIS. Despite this, these groups were to continue receiving support from Western militaries and their regional allies.
Noting that “the Salafist [sic], the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI [al-Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria,” the document states that “the West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support the opposition,” while Russia, China and Iran “support the [Assad] regime.”
The 7-page DIA document states that al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), the precursor to the ‘Islamic State in Iraq,’ (ISI) which became the ‘Islamic State in Iraq and Syria,’ “supported the Syrian opposition from the beginning, both ideologically and through the media.”
The formerly secret Pentagon report notes that the “rise of the insurgency in Syria” has increasingly taken a “sectarian direction,” attracting diverse support from Sunni “religious and tribal powers” across the region.
In a section titled ‘The Future Assumptions of the Crisis,’ the DIA report predicts that while Assad’s regime will survive, retaining control over Syrian territory, the crisis will continue to escalate “into proxy war.”
The document also recommends the creation of “safe havens under international sheltering, similar to what transpired in Libya when Benghazi was chosen as the command centre for the temporary government.”
In Libya, anti-Gaddafi rebels, most of whom were al-Qaeda affiliated militias, were protected by NATO ‘safe havens’ (aka ‘no fly zones’).
[h=4]‘Supporting powers want’ ISIS entity[/h]
In a strikingly prescient prediction, the Pentagon document explicitly forecasts the probable declaration of “an Islamic State through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria.”
Nevertheless, “Western countries, the Gulf states and Turkey are supporting these efforts” by Syrian “opposition forces” fighting to “control the eastern areas (Hasaka and Der Zor), adjacent to Western Iraqi provinces (Mosul and Anbar)”:
“… there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist Principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran).”
The secret Pentagon document thus provides extraordinary confirmation that the US-led coalition currently fighting ISIS, had three years ago welcomed the emergence of an extremist “Salafist Principality” in the region as a way to undermine Assad, and block off the strategic expansion of Iran. The 2012 DIA document is an Intelligence Information Report (IIR), not a “finally evaluated intelligence” assessment, but its contents are vetted before distribution. “AQ and ISIL are proscribed terrorist organisations. The UK opposes all forms of terrorism. AQ, ISIL, and their affiliates pose a direct threat to the UK’s national security. We are part of a military and political coalition to defeat ISIL in Iraq and Syria, and are working with international partners to counter the threat from AQ and other terrorist groups in that region. In Syria we have always supported those moderate opposition groups who oppose the tyranny of Assad and the brutality of the extremists.”
The DIA did not respond to request for comment.[h=4]Strategic asset for regime-change[/h]
Security analyst Shoebridge, however, who has tracked Western support for Islamist terrorists in Syria since the beginning of the war, pointed out that the secret Pentagon intelligence report exposes fatal contradictions at the heart of official pronunciations:
“Throughout the early years of the Syria crisis, the US and UK governments, and almost universally the West’s mainstream media, promoted Syria’s rebels as moderate, liberal, secular, democratic, and therefore deserving of the West’s support. Given that these documents wholly undermine this assessment, it’s significant that the West’s media has now, despite their immense significance, almost entirely ignored them.”
According to Brad Hoff, a former US Marine who served during the early years of the Iraq War and as a 9/11 first responder at the Marine Corps Headquarters Battalion in Quantico from 2000 to 2004, the just released Pentagon report for the first time provides stunning affirmation that:“US intelligence predicted the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), but instead of clearly delineating the group as an enemy, the report envisions the terror group as a US strategic asset.”
Hoff, who is managing editor of Levant Report — an online publication run by Texas-based educators who have direct experience of the Middle East — points out that the DIA document “matter-of-factly” states that the rise of such an extremist Salafist political entity in the region offers a “tool for regime change in Syria.”The DIA intelligence report shows, he said, that the rise of ISIS only became possible in the context of the Syrian insurgency — “there is no mention of US troop withdrawal from Iraq as a catalyst for Islamic State’s rise, which is the contention of innumerable politicians and pundits.” The report demonstrates that:
