I don't get Enneagram types. I never consistently get the same result. I took some quizzes here a few years ago and got Type 5 variant social. And another one gave me 1w2. Then last year I took a few more tests and got 1w6, 1w2 and 4w5. Took it today and got 2w1. What does it mean? Oddly, in over 25 years of regular testing, I've never tested as anything other than a solid INFJ. So why the erratic Enneagram results?

People are different in different phases of their lives. The prompts aren't so clear. It should be like handedness. Which do you prefer to be, or feel more comfortable being, when you're with people who can't ditch you, like family.
 
It's hard to know how to place the various tests. I always get 4 SP on Similar Minds, and always get 5 SX on eclectic energies. They must be weighted differently.

I haven't thought about Enneagram in a long time. As with all psychology/personality stuff I view it with some skepticism, but also curiosity.

Today's result, 3 years later:
