It's quite alright. I'd only be offended if you never said anything back at all.
I understand about not sharing knowledge with others unless it becomes necessary. Sometimes I attempt to justify it by telling myself that knowledge is power and therefore, it's wiser to be greedy with it. That, and I think people shouldn't have to be bothered by my own personal troubles when they probably have enough of their own to deal with.
I admire your truthfulness. Honesty is the beginning of understanding. I might have read that off a fortune cookie sometime.
Humour aside though, I think it's very admirable to be truthful. It takes a certain courage that I can't always muster up for everyone. Though you describe yourself as being unreliable, I don't know. It sounds to me that you're simply capricious. Though I guess I'm not a very good judge of that because I have a fairly unpredictable personality from day to day as well.
If it means anything to you, from the little I know of you through this forum, it sounds like you're a fairly good person. I would trust you.
