  • Ah, I see, thanks! Guess I won't buy that game. Hmm. Any suggestions on good ps2 rpgs? I've played most of the popular good ones like star ocean, kingdom hearts, FF, Dragon Quest, and all that.
See it's interesting on paper, but it does not translate well in game.

You feel like your presence is unnecessary, and really it is. The only way that it works is if it were a historical figure in real life. Something with actual significance toward the player, in this game everything is happening to you for the first time, so you never really feel like your watching something significant. It's all very superficial.
The gameplay is the best part of it.

I never finished it myself, the story isn't one that will stick out in the memories of FF fans everywhere however.
By braided I meant cornrows, but nah I was kidding, I might just grow a fro. I'd have to buy a hair pick. I have FFX FFXII and that's it. Never cared enough to buy another.

It seems the people who are 100% sure of their types are usually the most insecure about type.
lol, Hi! I am good, but exausted. I am going to NYC tmrw! woot woot, I can't wait. It'll be awesome! :D why would my view change?

    and how are you? :)
Well I guess I'm going to have to braid my hair then. After I grow the fro.

Yeah, really the only reason to start one of those threads is to watch people argue over you. It's good fun but I never bothered starting one. And I don't think it's as cut and dry as needing more time to grow. I think that more people don't fit in the boxes then not, and the people who are sure of their type just settled. In fact the more you grow the less likely you are to fit in one of those boxes. I've come to realize that it really doesn't matter what you are according to typology as long as you know who you are and are comfortable with it. Typology can be used as a stepping stone, but can't really 'finish the job'.

I've never been a huge FF fan, I own several FF games, and read the story for FF7 (which is truly badass, I must admit.) but I'm not a fan of the series as a whole and yeah sure. Take one wing.
Well I agree with him, you sort of remind me of me too... Which is why I'm going to grow a fro. There can only be one. :D

And yeah the longer those threads tend to go the farther you get from resolution. Eventually most members in that thread are going to call it quiets and settle on whatever you decide you are others will continue trying to figure it out. When it dies, if you decide to make a second thread oh, say... five or six months down the line, people will tell you to consider a completely different type, like some kind of SP, or NP. What happens then will be up to you.

I'm not speaking from personal experience, just observation. I've already gone from INTP to INFJ and have already made a home in that particular box.

Also if you ever think of getting tattoos please don't get wings on your back. Like I said, there can only be one.
Oh, I was mentioned? I do love being mentioned places. What was said about me?

And was it in that thread where you tried to narrow down what type you were?
oh man, I'm soo late in replying lol

I'm pretty sure INFJs don't think their only feelings are valid..unless their underdeveloped INFJs, and even then it seldom happens.

I think your right. Fe is developed from interacting with people. I am still new to the whole Cognitive Process thing, and I always mix up the Xi and Xe. haha
hey sorry I was out for a time and just got in now and saw your reply on my visitor wall. I'm on a couple of other forums too, and I agree this place is the one site full of maily sweet people who are easy to open up to! ttys and have a great night :)
I'm happy you're posting more here, I've always enjoyed reading your thoughts. I'm glad you're doing well :)

As far as censoring here goes, this is the one place I do not bother to do that for some reason. I guess you guys are my only friends, LOL!
Hi Reon!! I'm Mais, nice meeting you. I'm not that active in the forum, is actually my sister who told me about you message. that was nice of you!
It nice to find another person with the same zodiac. :)
It's hard for me to say actually, I've lost a lot of interest in the functions lately and I'm not sure which of the many sources out there to reference, I do read a bit of Jung and relate to his "introverted feeling type" quite a lot.

These type descriptions fit me pretty well and are probably clearer than any vague descriptions I could give of Fi and Se:
    http://isfp.mbti.human-types.com/
    http://www.murraystate.edu/secsv/fye/isfp.htm

As for INFJs and their Fe vs my Fi, I suppose INFJs are more inclined to seek some external validation of their feelings, I don't find forum drama etc. quite as toxic as they seem to, it's easier for me to step back and laugh or analyse.

I suppose INFJs are serious about a lot of things and VERY casual about a few things, where I am very casual about a lot of things and very serious about a few things. Fe reponses are more predictable, Fe gets upset about things you're "supposed" to get upset about. Whereas Fi can be pretty random and cling to unusual causes like me with my obesity stuff. You hardly ever notice Fi untill it decides to go on a crusade, then it is stubborn and obvious.

There is a randomness to me, almost a carelessness which most of them don't seem to have, INFJs seem very deliberate in everything they do.

That's about all I can think of for the moment.
I guess that's where INTJs and INFJs differe. We consider emotions and feelings as valid arguments. Just a friendly peice of advice tho: If you ever have to argue with a feeler, you'll have to relate to what they're feeling; find a personal experience that made you feel the same way that they're feeling at the moment of the argument, and go from there. The key actually to reach out to people is to put yourself in their shoes and relate to their feelings. Simply put, the key is Empathy. I thought I should mention that, since you want to come off as nice and kind. I thought about it yesterday.

Same goes with fiction. Non-fiction is good to develop your thinking and knowledge. Fiction is good to develop your Fe and empathy. But if it's knowledge that you desire then it's surely non-fiction that you should read.

I'm going to look up that thread now. and Thanks!! hopefully I won't disappoint. hehe :D
I think you and my sister are similiar in that. She too argues and sometimes argues for fun, it took me...a lifetime to tell the difference haha She too needs a proper argument or else she'll get frustrated.

Reading is good, just diversify the topics you read on, so you can get different point of view, not just the ones you agree with. Fiction can have some pretty wise words in them, they're best to help you develop your Fe. Try, Paulo Coelho. His writing are that much of fiction, but they do deal with human behavior and human nature. His books are insightful.

I always seem to run into the same kind of people, and develop the same kinds of friendships. It's as if there's a pattern I cannot break free from. It's weird.

Lol! Thanks. I don't see it as power, i see as this HUGE responsibility that I am accountable for. Hopefully, I'll do a good job at it. :)
I hope homogenity is the right term/ a real word/ correct grammar.

    I can't find my dictionary.

So far as I think, I mean to say 'All the same' from the term Homogenous.

Again, I'm not sure, and I'll feel idiotic if I'm wrong!
I mean, INTPf has variation, we might have different ideas on a topic, but we'd approach it the same way, analyse it in a near identical fashion, and alter our conclusion after taking the others into consideration.

    On here, it's a mish-mash.

Some brutishly ram home one point and consider nothing else (Satya,VH), others are a tad more open to possibilities or self-fault (NV,Dneecey), and others ignore the core issue, not being interested or understanding, choosing their own vector.

    IE-a lack of homogenity.
    Simple sir.

Reason one- The type 'INFJ' is a desirable one for some types of people. Some people aspire to be one, as if it is some social group. Hahah, it often happens with INT's too, only they're soon caught out.

Reason 2- Not naming anyone, but quite a few members seem to lack Intuition altogether, while others seem to be obvious INFP's. I'm certain that the INFP would be the biggest culprit of INFJ aspirations.

Reason three- The community is highly, HIGHLY divided in many ways and on many topics.
Peturbs me as well, and so i try to bring a little humor to the situation to bring to light just how ridiculous it all is..
