THE Event that changed my life forever.

Yeah. I believe Gandhi said something to the effect of, "I like your Christ. I don't like your Christians who look nothing like Christ."
I’ve found a lot more to contemplate by the Eastern societies than our own. It deals a lot more with meditation, reaching inside ourselves, growth through quiet reserved strengths and practices. I love reading about other religions, the lives of the monks I’m particularly fascinated by.

Given that I used to be a pantheist, I can identify with what you are saying here.

A couple things...

First, I wanted to share that I have had a certain epiphany as I was in prayer and the answer hit me like a ton of bricks who this man was. The answer that I have come to about this is that he was a man of suffering. As such, he shared a kind of closeness with Christ, though he was an imperfect vessel who God used to miraculously change my life forever.

The second thing I wanted to share is that I looked at what what going on in the world at the date this event happened to me on August 24, 2018. I came across a few things, but mostly, it was an uneventful day in the history of the world. However, there is this album and song that released exactly on this day and I really like the song. This is the song. It comes from a Methodist Worship group that decided to break away from their American Methodist tradition and aligned with the Global Methodist denomination, which upholds traditional views.

This is the song... I love the song!
