  • Hmmm...actually the first thing that comes to mind are certain disorders that parallel MBTI types (or seem to anyway); Schizotypal Personality Disorder for example... is something that many INF's find quite relatable. I suppose there's no direct conflicts per se, but some "interesting" comparisons can be made between the two.

...that grey area, where "pseudo science" meets psychiatric disorders.
Well I suppose that's an interesting way to make your way to the forums ; )

Any doubts so far about the MBTI system? It doesn't exactly mesh with a bit of the DSM...

Also, what's life really like in Canada... all I've ever seen of it has been US media coverage; which makes it look, well... cold, dull, and sparcely populated. I imagine its probably quite similar to the states, maybe with a bit more language "diversity" on your side.
ho ho ho The Obvious question! Um, well I just finished reading About a Boy by Nick Hornby. I don't know if you ever saw the movie? But I loved the book, it was ten times better. Almost a completely different story in some ways. Um...Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier.....I read a lot!
I love the second hand bookstores! And charity shops....those too. I buy all my books there. If you need any recommendations let me know know. I've read some good books lately also!
I'm reading two books at the moment. The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd...it's not great. Her first book was lovely, so im kind of disappointed. Then I'm reading Jeckyll and Hyde for book club...again, I don't like it so far! I was expectin a lot more! Are you reading anything interesting at the moment?
Wow! That sounds amazing.Do you enjoy it? I'm thinking about going back to college when my daughter is a little older. I'm trying to decide between social work and psychology myself! My duahgter just turned two...she's a little sweetheart :)
What do you work as if you don't mind me asking? I'm doing ok! Bit tired myself from work! Thursday mornings I work in a play group for toddlers. Right now I'm chilling in bed with a book while my little girl watches Happy Feet. Yeah, I'm an awful mother...I use the tv as a babysitter :p
yay! Might not be on tonight your time as i have a friend coming over...but sure we'll see if it works sometime! How are you?
hey! i added you on msn also...meant to say...did you get my request? At least on my msn both parties need to add each other!
Also... I figured I'd clarify that this is "Mike" from MSN, just in case that wasn't already clear : P (I also use that emoticon way too much, so that's potentially another identifier : P)

So how or when did you get into the MBTI stuff... was it easy figuring out that you're an "INFJ"?
Sure, np, I've enjoyed reading your blug thus far : )

I hear you, it was mostly sarcasm on my part; you just have a way with words... and I'm defintely not jealous
    Guess it's kind of like, yeah, there are things I could do with this money - likely wasteful - whereas others will handle it more appropriately or waste it without a care. Often, cannot afford that which is necessary, because I've used my cash on those who are unnecessary. Alas, making people happy tends to make me happy, oh for shame for shame. ;_;
Also I'm a huge moron. I saw you on AIM tonight but thought you were somebody else that I didn't want to talk to with the same name. -.-
In the end, money will cease to be. I'm not aware that I can make a living off of something released in 2011 and prior in 2013 and beyond. Granted, the cashflow hasn't stopped, but it was never that great to begin with. For 40k records, I'm still hilariously broke, but that probably has a lot to do with giving money to people because I'm a weak person as it relates to the almighty dollar. :/
I had bands. My first band did three albums and sold about 40,000 albums last year, then I left, and I created a new band last year that put two songs out… and broke that band up because my guitarist left. I've got a drummer for a new band. I'm on guitar and vocals, my friend might be doing guitars and vocals as well, him doing rhythm guitar and backing vocals, I doing lead guitar and vocals… drummer's all the way across the US but fuck it, it'll work out OK.

So could you analyze me and tell me the things I suffer from? Haha. There are a few things that could probably be pointed out. :3
I'm going to need all of them out most likely. Probably a couple others too, due to related issues. I'd say one of the main "eating" teeth will have to go. Ah well. It happens. I'm just a humble badass musician and will never be anything more or less than such! I double majored in sociology/philosophy when I went to college but yeah, did not work out so well in my favor and I failed out in my third semester (by choice, oddly)... no more college for me. Just music and whatever I can get away with. Why forensic psychology? Are you going to be analyzing serial killers? (In truth I've no idea what forensic psychologists actually do...)
It's always recommended you have them out before they come in cos that apparently makes it harder to extract them. Alas, 3 of mine are either in or partially in, and one more is coming in. What kind of work do you do?
