Oh, because when I was younger the playstation was the 'family' console, by which I mean,no single person in the house owned it.
Thus, I rarely got time to it on my own (Family on ten, or seven back then), and was sortof alienated from the games industry.
I only got games my parents bought, or sequels to the games we got with the playstation, i.E CRASH BANDICOOT
So although I was six when FF7 was realeased, and able to read quite well (I was a pokemon master), I didn't ever come across it, and stuck to my purple see through game boy colour...
