    And yes!!! My thoughts exactly on why we both got into this! I think seeing multiple perspectives and different strategies on an issue like this is a great advantage and I find myself hoping someone will come into thread from yet another angle. This is one of those things that needs to be talked about, especially on a forum for introverts (who are sadly, more likely to get bullied). I hope that this will give a lot of people food for thought; it certainly gave me a lot for mine.

    Oh geez, of course not and I hope I didn't give you that impression! I enjoy healthy debate and I never let a divergence in views in a discussion colour my relationship with that person. I find your perspective very interesting and stimulating; its made me question some of my views on things and helped me figure out where I stand. But even if I disagree on some matters, rest assured that you are someone I greatly respect and admire and that will not change. If there's anything I say or do to make you feel otherwise, I apologize as that was never my intention!

    Yeah, maybe, i think i will get some books to learn more now, do you have any recomendation?. Also i was just looking for information about chiron, and darkastrology had an awesome article about it, much more precise and in depth than usual.

    I've been fooling with astro.com for a while now haha, looking at diiferent chart drawings, stars and methods, i like that. Cafeastrology is really good too.

    I guess we have to try things to see what works for us

    I moved to the other side of the country recently and it was flat out wrong for me so i moved back lol

    I find it's difficult to get an idea sometimes without dipping a toe into the water

    I'm not sure about how far off grid i can get because the planning department here is very stringent so at the moment i'm contacting various people involved in a variety of projects to get a feel for whats going on out there

    I would definately go all in for the right kind of project. Distances here aren't so great so it's possible to be able to live out in the sticks and still dip in and out of the towns and cities as and when a fix of culture or people is needed!

    In my wildest fantasies i would be totally off grid and self-sufficient but i'm going to have to learn the realities by trying stuff and speaking to folks and take things in steps

    We have a referendum next month to see if scotland will break away from the rest of the UK. If people vote for independance (and i hope they do) then there might be drastic land reforms that could make things very interesting as there is a history of 'crofting' here which is basically small scale farming....so its an interesting time here

    If you're in the burbs you can dip into the mayhem of city life and then go back and chill in the burbs....contrasts can be good :)

    Yeah i've moved a fair bit myself lol

    I sometimes wonder if i'm supposed to put down roots or if i am nomadic by nature

    Things are OK. I'm looking into options re getting off grid and getting into permaculture but finding the system a bit sticky (hard to extract myself from!)
