    ENTP Frustrations

Hi, I met this great ENTP guy about a month or so now and have been casually seeing each other since. We've only been on one date but have been back to each others around 6 or 7 times and we genuinely get on really well. We couldn't be more different though, I always want to know where...

How Many Dates Until You've Officially 'Dated' Someone?

Hi, This thread may seem somewhat superficial in comparison to the others on here, but it's just a small query of mine. I'm currently in University and was just wondering how many dates do you need to have with a person until you've officially 'dated' them. I'm asking because I met this...

INFJ Frequently Lost In Their Mind

This always happens to me, my INTJ friend has to snap me back into reality from time to time... I don't try to stop it happening, in fact I enjoy it, not many other people are able to zone out from reality and become so deep in thought in such a short period of time :)

INFJ Frequently Lost In Their Mind

Yes.. especially on buses, where it is just me, the music and the view. I also find it very difficult to live in the moment or be present, its something that in trying to work on. I have random spurts and it feels so good.

    INFJ ESFJ Relationship

Maybe instead of focusing on her not enjoying your type of discussion, you could try to focus on finding out more about her.. what she likes etc to bond that way. I have been in your position with my mum - an ISFJ Overall, you're lucky. ESFJ's are generally great people :)

    Most drama-free type

Personally, I think ESFP's are the most drama free. I love them. ShayCarl = exhibit A

    Why so altruistic, INFJs?

We care so much for the exact reason why you cannot understand why we care so much. It's just the way we are.

If you could change your type would you?

No way. It's hard and frustrating being me sometimes. But I love being able to understand things on a deeper level and being affected by beauty and nature so much. I love sifting through idiots to get to one genuine person. Most of the time. :)

Friendships and ability to be yourself

I often struggle making friends easily mainly because of my inability to open up. I do have two best friends who i can be my complete self around and once I am comfortable around someone, I give everything; my humour, my feelings (hmm not entirely), my care... I think its all based on a trust...

    Dysfunctional Desire for Affirmation/Recognition?

Yes yes yes! i definitely relate to this, must be an Infj Thing. I like to think its not dysfunctional/maladaptive if anything because it is just who we are and we cannot change it. I think we should focus more on embracing and accepting this aspect of our personality rather than analysing it...

Emotional bond and we've never even met.

Just wondering, how are you sure?

Emotional bond and we've never even met.

I appreciate your comment. If I'm honest, I am a very obsessive person about people that I think I have a potential connection with. This is only because I find it so hard to engage and connect with people in everyday conversation because a lot are one dimensional and shallow. So, when I find...

    Parents?

I was just wondering what determines someones personality type. I know we are born with it, but which personality types are more inclined to price a particular personality type... If that's even how it works. So, what types are your parents and how do you on with both of them? My mother...
