Shiny is always good! I think for now I'm going to stick it out at my current job though. I've hoped around enough in the past four years (something like 6 different jobs!) and I actually like the work because it isn't work.
My friend offered me the tech job so should I need a new job in the future, I still have an easy in. Thank you though!

It felt so good to stand up for myself.
It's silly but just saying "For some reason you are under the misguided impression that I care what you have to say" gave me a HUGE adrenalin rush. I'm glad I did do my own thing. She hasn't said anything to me since she realized that she will be seeing me at family gatherings and if she wants to physically harm me, that's not the ideal place. I think she thought we were lying about being related.
I hope she feels dumb.
Which is terrible for my karma, but I will live and repent in some way.
