INFJ female in relationship with a very complicated INFJ male

Move on, seems you are trying to convince yourself he cares and loves you... afraid not (people cannot love others when they refuse to see past their own needs or mental health issues), sadly we cannot heal people too emotionally scarred to accept or share unconditional love, as you note in your...

INFJ female in relationship with a very complicated INFJ male

No, no faulty thread post 'Started by kri, 02-09-13 12:30 PM'... yet somehow I was able to 'add content' instead of reporting issue :(

INFJ female in relationship with a very complicated INFJ male

kri's original post that should have been here (yet somehow disappeared making me the 'thread owner' incorrectly) : I am an INFJ female and have been in a 1 year relationship with a complicated INFJ male who is 4 years older than me in his thirties. He is an...

    Gender and Mental Health Issues

How 'excessive' male sensitivity can be a symptom of neurosis or a worse mental health condition whereas a women may be 'oppressed' if they seem less emotional.

The weather influences me way too much

Mostly temperature sensitivity, with summer being my worst season; far too hot and humid making me more easily exhausted, unable to concentrate, short tempered at times and struggling to sleep. Rain and snow I do not mind as long as shopping is not getting wet...chill does not affect me hardly...

Are INFJs capable of non-super-intense friendships?

Yes and no *notes an exemplar link: http://friendship.about.com/od/Types_of_Friendships/tp/Stages-Of-Friendship.htm*, personally I hope people will become more than 'activity buddies' or colleagues but know there is often not enough in common to make this a reality... At times the old wise soul...

    What is not love?

Much easier to answer. Setting conditions upon what one must do to maintain love (materialisms rather than something as fundamental as being a good Father for example), withholding affections until acts of service are fulfilled, blaming-excessive criticism-shaming cycles that show one is not...

    INFJs and love

Growing up I was often fearful of what 'love' may feel like, learning from a young age that I could not trust relatives or parents with my emotions or sensitivity, willfully avoiding such conditional acceptance and interpretations I saw from so many actually in relationships or unsure what they...

    So....... Does anyone feel energies

Not something I can really explain, besides noting how it is in peoples nature to scout out a room or make themselves aware of potential vulnerabilities (perhaps empathic highly perceptive people are just better at observing 'the unspoken' or seeking complexity?).

    So....... Does anyone feel energies

Only with pets and people, growing in towns or noisy places throughout life...Something I have never really been able to define (besides noting how I grew up as an eye aversive INFJ Aspie) is learning to 'sense' feelings or energies based upon non verbal or unspoken communication (upon...

    Our Masks

Yes and no... I tend to feel these 'masks' are more like intensities of 'me' and more situational, in order to avoid wasting energies around those not capable of knowing the true me so easily.

Should one be proud of who he or she is?

Well 'many' in such cases may wish to cloak themselves in 'pride' in an effort of self denial (i.e. body dysmorphic disorders or 'assertiveness' that is really cold and hostile), making it a case of lexiconicalism when some confuse individualism (self reliance, self motivated, pride in their own...
