No, but it's better than doing nothing. And if my eating a little less meat and/or grass-fed beef helps a few more people in developing nations have more to eat, then I'm all for it.

Currently, the world produces enough food for every person to have 3000 calories a day. But much of that is put into raising livestock for meat, which reduces the number of calories/person available drastically. It's inefficient. I have no problem eating meat, but I do feel bad about the hunger...
