I agree with all of the posts here. The only caveat I would add is that many people walk a fine line where breakdowns and insanity can emerge. Effective geniuses are often driven to transform, and in doing so, take a psychic hit that can cause them, like any of us, to temporarily lose it...

Well, I watched this guy take the mbti, and he registered a strong ENTJ. But that is worth only so much. This guy may have just been a con artist who happened to be an ENTJ and used those extraverted people organizing skills to his evil ends. IT IN NO WAY implies all ENTJs use their leadership...

The only entj I ever knew was a former a guy who was so good at running confidence scams and pyramid schemes in high school that the cia recruited him. He was brilliant , but I didn't like almost compulsive need to manipulate people's viewpoints. I don't know how unusual he was for an entj...

Never thought I could, but eventually developed one. Facebook made this clear as day for me. Thanks, Facebook! Without facebook I likely would have forgotten about the person and not held a grudge.

If I weren't thinking about the person who made the offer, I might consider it. But if the person making the offer were standing there, and I started to consider their motivations, I might turn on them.

Time will tell, (in proper causal order--thank you very much) whether there is anything to this. Perhaps the bestbangle on this is the open minded scientist idea: that rather than dismiss this work, it is important to give it a fair shake. It isn't really fair to S for us to bash it. I try to remember that I am always seeking sensory meditation, se and si, to improve my well being, and acknowledge that S types are already closer than me to that goal.

I would really like to shut down the predominant model of competitive discourse in western civilization. I'd say I have an 80% chance of getting that done by this weekend. After that, Id like to go back to academia and demonstrate the value of rapid realistic failure to my ivory tower friends...

I've started to question the p/j contribution lately. I can feel a difference in people who come out one way or the other but the model predictions seem to be 50/50, a bad sign, IMO.

Perhaps the perponderance of people picking peculiar personalities predisposes a propensity to populate periphery populations. Or perhaps people pick a populated path for popularity purposes. If people pick a personality to pose their prefered position, how many people do preferences fail to...
