  • The inner guide 'speaks' very subtly. Sometimes in the form of 'signs' or symbols.
Mostly they're just feelings or intuitions of what's 'right.'

I've had this very 'dark' period. That's when I started exploring different faiths & learning these.
I wish my knowledge was more experiential though. As of now they're mostly just theories. :D

If I may ask, what are the Buddhism-related beliefs you have?
If you had them when you were young, then they must be correct.
Children are much more connected with their inner selves. :)
Haha. That's okay. I believe there aren't really failed meditations.
So long as you tried. It takes time and practice, like everything else. :)
About needing a master, well, not necessarily a physical master.
'Guide' can also mean your 'inner guide,'
if no physical master is available to you at the moment.
But as they say, "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear."

It's good to know that you're exploring. :m096:
Yes, it is very inspiring and eye-opening.
There are many things to be learned and to be realized when we explore different faiths.
As long as we look at them with open hearts and minds,
and look past the physical practices, and more into the essence. :hippie:
Haha. Good thing you didn't, that would be a dead-giveaway to where we live. :)
Thanks, Satori is my ultimate goal in life. :mf:
I think we can be the best friends of all.
Will tell you why in that thread of urs.almost crying while reading it :)
Sure, sweetie! I don't have any sisters, so now I'm adopting you. :D
But don't call me 'older sister' in the threads out loud. Haha.
    :m024:
I will definitely try it someday! :]
It looks like so hard though...
Most likely it will be hit & miss with the chopsticks. xD
(to try to get the food into my mouth, LOL)
Aw, that's nice to hear! :)
    People are really kind here...
Yeah, there's always that certain 'familiarity,' don't you think?
Lovely to meet you here, Anna! I wish we do get the chance to meet in person some time. :)
Hi! Thanks for the request! :) Let's watch Mraz together! (Oops, now I hinted on my location as well :p)
Only some beginner Korean as you, haha. But sadly I think I've forgotten most of it... .___.
Nice! ^__^ We seem to have something common. Korean alphabet is so easy to learn, though.
Aw! So the chopstick went down the drain..? Eh, such a bad luck. :/
I haven't ever eaten with chopsticks. >.< I would love to try someday!
Ahah, same... I love anything tropical and mermaids too~ :)
I love Eastern Asia the most, I think. China, Japan and South Korea..
The history, language, their unique alphabet, tradition, culture, food, anime, architecture, Korean and Japanese pop music, tv dramas, kimono, hanbok... etc. :D
Too many things to count, haha.
Oh, cool! What do you like about Asia? :)
LOL... You can change user title from ''My Account --> Edit Profile --> Custom User Title'', but I'm not sure is it locked before you have posted some specific amount of posts. .___.
    Aww thank you :)

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying yourself. I actually love the rain. It allows for so much reflection and contemplation, which is the perfect state of mind to play around in the forum, heh. :D
Okey. ^__^ Meh... I'm not from Asia, just interested in Asian countries generally. :)
